Manah speaks in a very archaic and stilted manner. They will put emphasis on the wrong syllables, as if unused to speech or the movements to do so.
They are capricious, looking only to their vessel for entertainment as they interact with the outside world. While not malicious, they are sadistic, enjoying the sight of seeing their vessel struggle.
In his incorporeal manifestations, he will hover stiffly, movements jerky as if manipulating a string puppet without proficient skill. The player character has noted that he make no attempts at facsimiles of blinking or breathing, even if it isn’t wholly necessary.
Entertainment
Utterly uncaring of the limits of the human body
Perhaps a manifestation of his crest, perhaps a hallucination from witnessing their brother's death from crest transfer, Manah appears to the player character after the completed crest transfer and named heir apparent to the () family. At first manifestation, they appear obscured to the player but in full view of the player character in their true form. They then pluck the memory of player character’s adoptive brother and borrows his appearance. The player character notes that his brother never had eyes like Manah, suggesting that this is part of Manah’s true form.
Their true form is too much for human comprehension and has driven each of their previous inheritors to madness when manifesting.
When speaking about Manah in general they/them pronouns will be used. When speaking about the apparition he/him pronouns will be used.
Manah begins the story addressing the player character as “youngling”. When the player character gains the power to see across present dimensions, they address him as “contractor”.
