Nils Aaby
A confused, former human trapped in a suit. After all, wouldn’t you be confused when waking up after months of inactivity?
He’s lost all concept of attraction since his ‘transformations’, and he never displayed too much either as a human. Most likely asexual. Though heteroromantic.
28 years.
Was a male, could be considered a male as his new self.
Formerly short-ish, brushed back but not slicked.
None - he definitely doesn’t have any now.
A dark grey and brown, maybe some dark blues in there suit. It’s kind of like a space suit of unknown design. A helmet and a light - the latter of which is broken. Thick gloves and boots. An oxygen tank on his back with a tube connected to his helmet; however the oxygen tank is broken.
Small mushroom like growths on his right shoulder. Pale in light, glow blue in dark. Further in his story, these ‘mushrooms’ will extend, growing roots with the same properties. This will also cause him pain.
Mouth on left shoulder. Presumably to replace his former mouth. Not a human like mouth, in case you’re curious.
It’s hard to tell what is Nils and what isn’t. He’s somewhat bulky. Maybe not, though. It’s hard to tell with the suit and machinery. Both of which he can’t take off, considering that it’s fused to him. If he did, it would be painful.
Formerly fair skinned. Now he’s kinda dark. He may not even have human skin anymore. Silver, if you count the machinery. Bioluminescent, if you count the ‘mushrooms’.
Former human. Currently, it’s kinda hard to say exactly what Nils is. He’s best described as a human fused to a machine. Not exactly a cyborg either, he’s got some non-human and non-machine parts in him too.
Formerly blue, in his new form he doesn’t have eyes like most humans, however as he is apart of the Dominator, his ‘eyes’ would be shown to be red.
198 lbs, maybe a bit more considered that Nils is fused to some machinery now.
6’1
Formerly brown hair, no longer has hair in his new form.
He’s powerful, physically. He can run for long distances too, but I wouldn’t consider him fast. Memorizing stuff as well.
Nils is cautious and careful. He is somewhat careless about the noise he makes when he moves around, but he can’t exactly cover that up either. While he is careful, he’s curious to learn.
Easily frustrated and angered, which can prove to be a bad thing for his surroundings. Does his best to remain calm.
Nils is willing to help people, as long as they don’t prove to be threatening to him. Nils also makes aware that if his mind thinks an individual is a threat, he can’t really control what he may do to defend himself. Nils can be described as having a shared mind - one, with himself, two, with the nanobots, and three, with the predatory mind of an alien who seeks to hunt. The nanobots work to defend Nils, while the alien part is more aggressive, and Nils himself would rather this not be happening.
Fused to The Dominator and some of its programs - meaning he has a connection to it, and can communicate with it unwillingly. However, The Dominator sees him as a virus, so anything with a stable connection to The Dominator would be hostile towards him. This makes travelling with others complicated..so at best he is more of an outcast. Both to humans and machines.
Glances around a lot, especially when speaking to humans. Usually pretty nervous around them, even if he is a lot larger and could probably crush their arms.
Tilts his head a bit.
Uses a lot of body language, since he can’t express himself as well anymore.
Survival. Just like a lot of creatures on the planet, survival is his main drive. As well as escape, from the A.I. that hunts him, and maybe to find someone who doesn’t immediately try to attack him or run away.
Frustrated easily. Under certain conditions, like conversations, he tends to speak first than think. Tends to release his frustration in ways that can prove deadly for his surroundings.
Dulled senses. His sense of smell and hearing are his two strongest, but to say smell, even that’s pushing it a little.
Humans and machines. Despite being apart of those two concepts himself. He doesn’t necessarily dislike them, just generally tends to assume humans are afraid and machines want to kill him. Thus he keeps his distance.
Learning, of what happened to Base Iota and himself too. Learning in general, actually. It’s one of the few things he finds joy in.
Meat.
Blue. It’s the only colour besides red and orange he can see. A nice change, actually.
Former Dominator pilot. Now - just a survivor, trying to survive.
