When May was young, she was a courageous and spunky girl, who lived for the fun of it. She had a natural aptitude for wind magic, and was brilliant and and incisive, but was often insensitive and insecure.
She had a fiery temper, obnoxious nature and was very troublesome. However, her wit and spunk are often what kept her out of too much trouble.

After being captured, tortured and assumed dead by the only family she's ever known, she has struggled with feelings of worthlessness for many years, and those feelings have festered and grown into something much, much darker.

May has retained some semblance of her old life. Still courageous and incisive, and still very opinionated, headstrong and fiercely protective of the people she cares for. Her fiery temper is still very present, but she has learned to keep it in check around others.

After many years of misery, she now only sees the world in black and white. She is angry and bitter at the world for taking everything from her, and believes firmly that she is right for everything she feels.
She knows exactly what she wants and will obtain it in the most efficient way possible, no matter who she has to trample in order to do so. She is highly manipulative, poised and intense, all of which assist her in reaching her goals. She is cold and calculating, and has a clear vision for the future. She cares very little for other people's perspectives and views, and uses her quick wits and cold hard logic as a weapon to humiliate and silence anyone who dares stand against her.
