Regal; soft yet commanding.
Alys comes off as strict and cold, especially to fae from other courts, but does care deep down. She can be on edge when in an unfamiliar situation, but is quite at ease in her own court and in some others. When among friends, she is cheerful and borders on playful at times. She can come off as paranoid, and pours over every perceivable outcome (aided by) before making a decision. She puts the greater good of Ignis above her desires (and even above the Winter Court at times), which is a factor in how she comes off as a bit of a stick-in-the-mud.

Stubborn, strict, can be cold, especially to those not in her court. Keeping in the spirit of the Winter Court, she has an initially icy exterior. Overanalytical, agonizes over decisions.
Against the humans, believing them weak and foolish, and occasionally against fae from other courts. As much as she lovesand the Summer fae, she hates visiting the Summer Court due to the intense heat.
Alyssum was born and raised in the Winter Court to King Pieris and Queen Camellia. She grew up in the inner courts, learning about politics from an early age. The most politically savvy of the rulers, Alyssum was a close friend ofbefore his imprisonment and the two collaborated frequently. She and have a respect for each other, though she dislikes his reckless past, and she is close with despite their hatred of each other's weather. Alys has a niece named whose gift is to see the future, adding to Alys' habit of carefully deliberating her choices. She adopted after the girl's parents were killed by human hunters, and raised her as the Princess of Winter before eventually sending her off to live with due to rising political tensions.
