Backstory
One of Rothos' thenite brothers and the only one he considers a friend. Merrick is withdrawn and shy but very smart. He's often picked on by Steeg and Toren for his size and bad leg. But he's close to Rothos who defends him. He may have something of a crush on Rothos, who of course, has absolutely no idea. Merrick helps Rothos escape on the night of the ritual and his fate after that is unknown.
