Her father was Zoom. She met Reverb at 3 y/o. Found out she was a speedster at 9 and didn't tell her father because he would hurt her. She was more attached to Reverb and Killer frost than her own father, due to the fact that she could be honest with them about anything. Reverb, Deathstorm, Killer Frost were all killed by Zoom when she was around 13. She 'went cold' on her father after he killed them, refusing to care about him from then on. This is why she didn't cry or wait for him as she did with them.

She hates her last name and everything her father gave her, except her powers.
