Zilarra can't help but stick her nose in business that isn't her own. She needs to know what's going on with everything around her and will not rest until she has an answer. She's also prone to superstition, carrying around a few charms as a measure to ensure her successes, but not that they do much to keep her from getting lost or wandering.

Energetic, but cautious. Some may say motherly, or perhaps controlling. But she’s seen too much to know that there’s simply not enough time for everything. She does her best to be supportive and a positive influence in her friends’ lives, and understands that while she may not be the best person in the world, she still strives to achieve that goal.
Cheery and outgoing, Zilarra is quick to make friends with almost anyone she meets, offering kind words and even kinder actions. She often invites friends to come to her with their problems, often forgetting her own in the process.

Zilarra was born into a family of moderate wealth. Jewelers by trade, her parents worked hard for most of Zilarra’s early childhood, providing for her and her two sisters. Their home of Argus afforded them an easy market - a tourist was always good for two or three pieces to take home, often at an increased price. They made enough to send the three sisters to Sanctum Academy, in which Zilarra excelled, but unfortunately, following their fathers’ diagnosis of advanced cancer, she dropped out of the Academy to assist her mother in their shop. She also dedicated what little free time she had to studying her fathers’ illness, and from it, an interest in medicine blossomed.
It wasn’t enough, however, the medical bills piling higher than ever. Left with no viable alternative, Zilarra turned to begging, and when that earned a meager sum, to crime.
Petty theft, pickpocketing, street scams - it was a little help, but of course, the day came where she stole from the wrong person. After being chased through the streets and eventually cornered, Zilarra feared she would be killed.
Before the worst could come to pass, the three men stumbled and fell, daggers protruding from their backs, and, in the distance, stood a certain violet haired woman..
GRIMM had found her, and with the promise of Lien beyond her dreams, Zilarra was hooked and brought into the fold, her unique Semblance providing a much needed boost for the failing Hunstmen guild. Her sisters continued to attend Sanctum, and would eventually go on to attend Haven Academy as Z continued her work with the Guild, hoping that one day she’d have enough to save her father. She delved further into medicine, studying under a grizzled combat medic, soon learning the craft of combat casualty care - the Guild had so few, they saw no problem with exposing a young girl of fourteen to that world, and all the horrors it came with. After many, many operations, she took to wearing gloves nearly full time as she was tired of washing blood out from under her nails.
The work and her study were in vain, however. Her father passed, and soon after, her mother, of a broken heart. Now without parents to look after them, she ensured her younger sisters’ continued safety and threw herself even further into her work and study with GRIMM.

Way of the Hurricane; Much like the namesake, which do not form often, Zilarra’s fighting style isn’t much of one. She prefers to stay in the backline, but when necessary, will jump into the fray with a ferocity belied by her soft attitude and even softer bedside manner. Rapid strikes, dodges, and aggressive approach can throw off even the most seasoned fighter if they aren’t anticipating it.
Aerokinesis
Zilarra can manipulate the molecules that compose air - oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, neon, hydrogen, and methane. The strength of the manipulation varies based on the variation of molecules in a set space - a twenty five foot cubic square is her standard, but she is capable of shrinking the area of effect.
Manipulation is not just limited to moving molecules, she can also re-scale them into larger, visible spheres. They retain their original properties when scaled up but are affected by gravity due to increased volume. She does not yet have a safe combat use for this ability.

Holding abilities for lengths of time requires greater Aura expenditures. Zilarra is not immune to her own abilities; if she is not careful, she could accidentally cut, burn, electrocute, or even suffocate herself. Cannot use any of her abilities in a vacuum environment. Controlling the area of effect down to smaller points requires greater focus, and the AOE cannot expand past 100 cubic feet with even her most intense focus.
