Shan (or Prowler) is a lean Zhongese Redcloak. She has fair skin, brown-nearly-black hair that reaches to her shoulders, and dark brown eyes. Prowler wears a forest green long-sleeved shirt with brown, slightly furry pants. She wears a belt with a single gold shackle, another belt across her shoulder, and sturdy leather boots. One of her notable features is a red cloak with a hood (which she wears the hood up at most times) and a white birch mask resembling a panther.

Lean, slightly delicate
Her white panther mask and red cloak. She also obtains a magnolia quarterstaff.
Prowler has rather a rough and tough appearance to strangers. This causes her to appear rowdier than others her age. However, she may be loyal to her friends and family but at times she can make choices that can negatively affect others.
Prowler wants to right the world's wrong doings. She has a strong moral compass, although she's too immature to make the best decision. Prowler is also loyal to Jinx since he's her spirit animal. Although Prowler's family doesn't know where she is, Prowler wants to stay alive in hopes she'll cross paths with them even if they wouldn't know who she is under her red cloak and white mask.
Prowler is an outspoken, feisty, and independent person. Some may say she has a nosy yet callous personality... which is true. Prowler has good morals, but she's too immature and naïve to make the best decision. Prowler is hasty in making life choices, which often leaves her in sticky situations. She often jumps to conclusions and sets off by herself to solve them on her own. Prowler is stubborn and has interesting methods of getting the work done. However, she is curious and has a good heart.
Prowler is callous of others' feelings. She is also rash and hasty in making decisions she may regret later. Prowler is sensitive and will lash out if anyone insults. While she is trained in fighting with a quarterstaff, Prowler's not very proficient at it and only knows how to fight with a quarterstaff. She is sort of small and easy to defeat if the person she's fighting with is a large foe.
Prowler has a prejudice against Greencloaks, loud/rude people, and hunters.
Prowler has enchanted sight, hearing, agility, and stealth. She can even turn invisible, although that's thanks to her spirit animal Jinx. Even without Jinx, she is obvers ant in her surroundings and is quite artistic.
Prowler enjoys reading, drawing, playing music, goofing off with Jinx, exploring, studying maps, painting, and hiking.
Prowler is chaotic neutral, willing to cause chaos in order to do the right thing.

Feb. 10th, the year was lost to time.
Prowler went to a public school and started to learn basic fighting skills when she was recruited to the Greencloaks. There, she was taught slightly more advanced fighting, basic healing, tracking, and survival skills. After moving to the Redcloaks, Prowler learned more survival skills. She's quite adept in survival while she's okay with fighting and knows a bit of basic healing.
Growing up, Shan had a pretty interesting childhood. Her mother was strict but it wasn't too bad. Her best friend (and one of the only people she interacted with) was Yan, her twin. For some odd reason Shan could never understand, her parents wouldn't allow the girls outside and close the binds after dark. Sometimes, Shan heard roaring animals and swords unsheathing. She shrugged it off though.
One day, Shan managed to sneak out on her own. She wanted to see what the world was like, not from a window still. Sadly for her, she accidentally encountered a group of people. They lunged at Shan, but before she could run, another group of masked people defended her. Through the chaos, Shan felt the echoes in her mind cry. It felt as if an inner spirt was speaking inside of her. Then a flash appeared before her eyes and a black panther leaped in front of her. There wasn't much time to imagine what had happened, because one of the red-cloaked people tossed her a quarterstaff. She would have to fight for her life.
Shan clumsily threw her staff around, while the black panther stuck close to her and swiped at nearby enemies. She wasn't sure what had happened, but her speed and agility improved. Finally, the enemies fled one by one. The mysterious people did too. Shan was found by her family and spent the next few days inside, recovering. Shan discovered she had summoned her spirit animal, as well did Yan. Her twin's spirit animal was a bald eagle named Eureka.
After a week or so, a tall, smiling Greencloak was waiting at the front door. The man was named William. He invited both Shan and Yan to join the Greencloaks. They traveled to Greenhaven and Shan slowly but surely made some friends. They all shared somethings: new, confused, and perhaps a bit baffled. Shan enjoyed her time here and even learned how to use a quarterstaff.
However, she entered a forbidden library one night and it turns out the Greencloaks wrote history they wanted it to be. As Shan was walking away from the library, she overheard William speaking with a group of Greencloaks about their plans for "civilizing" Zhong. They were planning to wipe out whoever was living in Zhong to prevent any "rebels" from escaping. With mixed emotions Shan ran off without telling anyone where she went. The only one who went with her was her loyal companion, Jinx.
Shan wasn't sure where to go once she secretly jumped on a ship headed for Eura. As she was glancing around, she noticed a handing red cloak. Then an idea appeared- she could join those mysterious Redcloaks! However, it wasn't as easy as she thought it would be. Shan endured hard months of hopeless hunting, constant questions to strangers, and endless walking. Through it all, she managed to find her way to the Redcloaks.
There were other people who joined the Redcloaks and weren't fused with their spirit animal so Prowler had a slightly easier time adjusting. She even made friends with Howler and Worthy, two Redcloaks around her age. It's been more than a year and Prowler has adapted to her new home. There's still more to come for Prowler...
Prowler use to have a family dog back at home by the name of Charlie but Charlie passed away while she was at Greenhaven.
"Wow, this guy is really slow."
"First, you didn't tell us your name so I can't say you answered my question. Second, you're in an area you're not suppose to be in."
"Run along now? It's like he's dismissing us!"

Prowler prefers not to take off her mask, as she fears someone would recognize her and would take her back to Greenhaven. She also used to have a training quarterstaff before Jinx chewed it up. She bought a new one though.

Jinx - The two have an odd relationship. Due to summoning Jinx, Prowler is loyal and protective of Jinx. She normally trusts Jinx but Prowler always has a feeling he's up to something. Prowler is often cleaning up after Jinx. When they first met, Prowler was somewhat bold and tried to influence Jinx's actions, resulting in Jinx swatting her face. Their relationship has improved since then.
Yan - Prowler is Yan's best friend and twin. They look out for each other and often discuss their days, characters from books, etc. They played with each other when they were little. They have a deep trust with each other. Although they were close, Prowler kept secrets from her and left without bidding farewell.
Stead - Prowler was imitated by Stead at first appearance. She noted he was more patient around younger people and is very respectful and obedient of him. Stead is the only Redcloak who Prowler knows the least.
Howl - The two are somewhat closer in age and thus good friends. They're often paired up together in patrols, and make an excellent team with Prowler's stealth and Howl's ferocity. Sometimes, they get into arguments, but they get back on track. Prowler and Howl make up stories about the other Redcloaks' origins.
Worthy - Prowler sees Worthy as a mentor due to having similar spirit animals. She often asks Worthy questions (much to his annoyance.) Nonetheless, Worthy sees Prowler as sort of a younger sister.
