Afraid of Grimm, prone to lethargic episodes when upset, likes to showboat when nothing is challenging her
Dislikes the White Fang, wary of people from Atlas and Mistral, bought into stereotypes of faunus
Was a gymnast as a kid, drawing, tracking
Amy likes to cook, and sketch things in her notebook
Very determined on what she sets her mind to.
Amy is a welcoming person who does her best to make sure she is always loyal and honest to her friends. Although she struggles to be assertive she has always been self-confident in her abilities. Amy is usually pretty agreeable and makes sure she stays polite in polite company. Typically reading the room to fit herself comfortably within. Amy tends to stay level-headed but can turn rebellious when rules get in the way of what she deems right. She’s non-judgemental to strangers and friends but can definitely nitpick if you get on her bad side. She’s typically pretty intuitive and idealistic but can turn into a total dork when she gets flustered. Amy is almost always doing something and being active unless something is up with her.
Odd jobs, mowing lawns, painting, gardening, cleaning.
Vale
Her parents are/were huntsmen/huntresses, she learned to fight through her mother.
Amythyst was born in Vale and travelled often, never settling into places. Her father, as she’s told, is still going out and doing missions and such. Occasionally her and her mother would get sent lien from her father. Sometimes bigger amounts than others but most often they were large enough sums to not go hungry. There’s been gaps between payments that she’d have to improvise for food or not eat. They always got by and Amy made a point to do her best to stay positive especially when things were easy. She wanted to be grateful for anything and everything she got.
Azure retired to take care of her daughter which later in life Amy truly realized and admired her mother that much more. They probably could have dropped her off with a relative and both go on missions but Amy assumes it was so that her family could be around to some degree. Amy began training around six years old which was usually chores mixed in with balance training and such. She really loved a lot of the flexibility and acrobatic stuff and convinced her mother to allow her to go do gymnastics. She took to that and incorporated it into her huntress training and developed what felt right for herself. Her mother began easing back on the hands on approach and eventually simply spectated unless it was for sparring. Amy has yet to beat her mother once.
Azure always makes sure to just be ahead of Amy’s level to make it challenging enough. Once she was around eleven she began going to hunt wherever they were staying to catch food to save lien spent on food. She then discovered that cooking was her jam and got into that. She started a garden where they traveled, staying in places for a couple of months at a time. The longest she spent in one place was two years as a baby. Although things went relatively smooth, there were bumps and hurdles. When she was between three and four years old, they were attacked by Grimm on the road. Amy’s mother Azure had Amy on her shoulders along with their things in a large pack so she set her down quickly before the Grimm could get to them. Azure went ahead just enough to keep Amy in range to snatch should one of the beasts go for her and just far enough away to make sure she didn’t get caught in any of the coming blows. This was her first real encounter with Grimm and Amy was frightened beyond belief which would only draw in more. Azure tried to keep her to calm down but being a scared child there was only so much she could do. It didn’t take long for Azure to get overwhelmed and she began her retreat.
Grimm kept coming as Amy cried out on the trail. Azure grabbed Amy and their things and booked it back away from the Grimm. Azure slowly managed to get Amy to calm down and as she stopped crying an Ursa burst from the underbrush and knocked Azure and Amy to the ground. Amy hit her head on the rocks and became dazed. She couldn’t cry out as she was so stunned but looking back at the Ursa, it was taller than she had imagined from stories. It was standing on two legs, eyeing the mother and daughter. Amy was about to scream when a javelin pierced the Ursa’s chest. Someone in a white mask jumped onto the wounded Ursa and pulled out the javelin and brought it down to the back of it’s head. Azure quickly got up and prepared to deal with the rest of the Grimm, mainly being beowolves. With the help of the white masked group they quickly dealt with the rest.
Amy watched in awe as she thought these were huntsmen. When the fighting died down, Azure came back to a bleeding Amy. When they were knocked down a rock had sliced her left eyebrow, wasn’t anything bad at least. Azure turned to the masked men and thanked them for their help, asking why the White Fang were out on the trails. Amy didn’t listen to their reasons but she had only heard the name from when they were in town. Mainly whispers. If she had asked, the response was typically ‘Adult stuff’ and was told to go play outside or something. The White Fang members said something along the lines of ‘If you’re really thankful, why don’t you donate some supplies to their cause.’
Amy focused back on them and her mother when Azure told them that their help was appreciated but they had nothing to share. The White Fang members looked at each other and back at Amy and her mother before stepping forward. Azure reached for her weapon but got a swift kick to the gut. One of the members kept Azure’s arms behind her back while the other member began rifling through their things in Azure’s pack. Grabbing valuables and tossing clothes aside into the dirt.
Amy wanted to do something but being so young she knew she couldn’t if they could take out an Ursa with relative ease. She glared through one eye since the blood previously dripped down her eyelid. The White Fang members took off with their new loot and left Azure and Amy on the trail surrounded by evaporating corpses of Grimm.

Two short handled zaghals, that can combine into a semi-automatic magazine fed rifle. The ammunition can be dust infused but that needs to be made before a battle.
Medium Caliber Rifle Zaghal, MCRZ
Dual-wielding short handled Zaghals
Medium Caliber Rifle
Amy tends to frontline and distract attention of her opponents from her team, Although frontlining she tries to be on defense until she sees an opening. If she needs to she can fire from close to medium engagements but tends to fall short on longer range shots. Her lack of offense in melee combat tends to make fights last longer.
Amy uses dust infused ammunition
Friction
Amy can control the friction affecting anything she touches and parts of herself. Ex: Make her shoes frictionless and glide around school, increase the friction on a rope to keep a hold onto it, increase friction of her fingertips and toes and crawl along a wall like a spider (that uses a lot of aura though so can not do that very long).
Transmutor
Ice-like coating when decreasing friction, tar-like coating when increasing friction
Purple
Touch
If she were to touch the floor, only a small area around her would be affected, if she were to change the friction on her scalp the roots of her hair could come out and she could make herself bald, she does need to make physical contact with whatever she’s trying to change the friction of, The bigger the area she’s attempting to affect the more aura is drained.
