He was raised in an abusive household, he only found solace in his two childhood friends, Lucy and Mina. He eventually escaped his parents and married Lucy. During this time his mother died of old age and he reconciled with his father. He didn't believe in Enigmas until Mina used Ace to protect him and Lucy. He then became obsessed and soon found himself possessed by Satan himself. He started the cult and funded it with government money and preformed experiments on his children. One the night he went berserk due to his Enigma he killed and ate Lucy.
