Angel (Fallen)

Mastema was a fallen angel created by God to punish the spirits locked in Hell. They were created as a normal angel and immediately had been thrown out from the Heavenly Host and cast to Hell, following Lucifer’s defeat at the hands of Michael.
Their main purpose was to watch over Lucifer’s Cage; they shared this role with Samael. In the grand plan to release Lucifer, they were commanded by Heaven to sacrifice themselves.
