(ayo that's a really cool painting, I am even more frightened of Jesse now if that were possible xD)

"Oh honey, I'd never get mad at you," Gus said, his heart aching at the sight of Jasper looking so afraid. "Why would I? You're my friend, and I jus' wanna make sure all my friends are safe 'n happy." He gently took her shoulders again, trying to meet her gaze and show he was telling the truth. "Please, Jasper…… you're hurtin'. I can't help you if I dunno what's wrong."

Travis's heart skipped a beat when he heard the menacing voice from the room next to him. Far from being scared, he was almost excited to meet another human in this monster-infested town. The threat didn't faze him at all–in the stranger's situation, he would've said the same. Anyone with half a brain would.
"Don't worry," he whispered to Tap. "I got this."
Straightening, he replied to the stranger in a clear voice, not walking into view just yet. "Hey, relax, no need to start a scuffle. We're all friends here, yeah? Us two are just looking for a place to wait out the rain—we didn't know anybody lived in this lovely establishment." He spoke with a casual, persuasive lilt, born from years of experience dealing with violent people. "Hey why don't we try this again? You promise not to shoot on sight, and we'll come around this corner and introduce ourselves like civilized people."

She sniffles, on the verge of crying once again. She looked up at him, knowing that he wasn't lying. So she grabbed her sleeve, and slowly pulled it off of her wrist.
(Tw: sh)
There were cuts and scrapes down her wrist, her sleeve was soaked with her blood. She felt the tears run down her face as she showed up him, it hurt a lot more then she had been leading on. She pulled down her other sleeve and just cries to gus.

(haha im glad XD)
Jesse listens to him carefully, stepping away a few feet more. "i wont shoot" she says, not knowing herself whether or not she was telling the truth yet. Though if they didn't pose any threat to her, it couldn't do any harm could it? By the sound of it, there were only two people still, but she listened closely in case anyone else were to come.
She never liked trusting people and she never did trust anyone. Not since the world went to shit. And honestly a little bit before that even. When people proved they couldn't be trusted. And trust was never something Jesse took lightly either.
"come in" she orders with a wave of her gun. She holds herself high as she usually does, shoulders broad and feet planted steadily on the ground. Jesse grips her gun, finger still on the trigger and ready to shoot, glaring hard at the doorway. The thumping of her pulse hard in her ears as she waits for them to come into her line of sight.

Tapioca was just staying next to him as they moved around the corner, she tried to get as much of Jess into her mind, but it was really hard to see in the dark room besides some flashes of lightning outside.
She tried not to look scared though, she didn't want them to think she was just some weak girl.
(Sorry for the short post)

Gus's eyes widened when he saw the damage. Without saying a word, he opened his backpack and started taking things out of it—water, a rag, his first aid kit, a chocolate bar. The chocolate and first aid kit went on the ground next to him, and the water went carefully onto the rag until it was soaked. Ever-so-gently, he took one of Jasper's arms and began to clean away the blood, using the cool cloth to soothe the skin.
In truth, he was at a loss for words. If he tried to speak, he worried he'd lose control of his emotions and upset Jasper even more. Of all the troubles his new friends carried, he felt completely inequal to the task of solving this one. And so he did the only thing he could think of, which was to try and deal with the physical injury as best he could and hope it helped make Jasper's emotional pain a little more bearable.
"It'll be all right," he murmured finally, feeling that he should say something. "I ain't mad. You're gonna be just fine."

Travis stayed light on his feet as he moved into view with Tap, fully prepared to get attacked by the stranger in the room. His first impression was of her unusual height and obvious strength, and he looked her up and down with mild surprise. She was remarkable. She also seemed to be alone, at least at the moment, and Travis relaxed slightly once he confirmed that no one was waiting to jump out and tackle him.
"Well well," he said chattily, standing partly in front of Tap and giving the stranger a winning smile. "Nice night to make new friends, I guess! You got any more playmates lurkin' around in this place you wanna tell us about, or is it just you?"

(im gonna cry Travis thinks Jesse's remarkable TT^TT)

Jesse glares at the two of them still, her eyes looking up and down their persons as well.
From the broad shoulders and the stubble on his face to his beautiful eyes and scars along his paler skin, Travis seemed like he would put up a good fight but he also didnt strike her as the kind to want to fight her in the first place.
Her eyes flick to Tapioca, focusing on her more shy stance and her unusual attachment to the man she stood next to. Not stood, more like clung to.
Her eyes a paler color, she didn't think about it too much and didn't put two and two together. Seeing if someone was blind or not was the last of her concerns in this world. Or ever. She wasn't exactly the sensitive type in any situation.
Tap was small, pretty, and rather shy.
With this, Jesse didn't think they would attack and if they did, she was confident enough to take them on. Whether or not she actually could depended on these two. Was this a trick? Were there more of them? Were they just a ploy? Some sort of trick that made Jesse cocky and think she could take them on or even trust them?
There was no way of knowing for sure, so for now, Jesse didn't do anything but stand still.
"There is group a few miles down south. I am alone though" she says with a heavy sigh, her finger tightening around the trigger just a little, though careful not to move it and shoot Travis. She didn't want to say she was alone, but she didn't want to tell them about the group either and here she was. Maybe theyd want to leave her alone and go to this group? A whole group of people is a lot better company than just one.

When Josefine returned to the bedroom, she found Lyn was asleep. As she should be. Sef placed her old clothes in the backpack, humming a little. Then she went over and gently shook Lyn’s shoulder.
“The downstairs bathroom is open if you wanna shower,” she said. Lyn’s eyes slid open just barely, and she nodded.
”Tudo bem com você?” she asked, lowering her voice. It was a phrase she used a lot, so Lyn knew what it meant. Lyn shook her head. Sef went back to massaging her shoulder, hoping it would help. Lyn closed her eyes again, grunting softly.
“Maybe you’ll feel better after you take a shower?” Sef suggested. Lyn nodded again, but made no effort to move.

She tried to look tougher when she felt a gaze on her, from the direction that the girls voice came from.
Was she near their age?
She couldn't help but wonder…
She stepped out just a little bit from where she was behind Travis.
"Its..just the two of us." She looked at the wall next to Jesse. Since she didn't know exactly where she was, only where she heard the voice projecting from.
She wanted to be helpful at least once..

(No worries! And hahaha yesss the wary respect between Travis and Jesse is so fun xD)
Travis was caught slightly off-guard by Tap's voice next to him. He'd been so busy running his usual 'don't-kill-me' routine that he'd almost forgotten he had a friend with him this time.
"Yeah, it's just us," he agreed, unsure how the taller woman would react to this information. Clearly she still didn't trust him, and he was nowhere close to trusting her either. Still, he kept up the act for now.
"The name's Travis. Travis of Red Creek, my buddies used to call me. This lovely lady beside me is Tapioca, but you can just call her Tap. Don't mess with her, she's a fierce one." His easy grin returned and he nudged Tap playfully. "So what about you, stranger? You got a name, or a code name, or a scary title the locals gave you? You look like the type."

She whimpered a little when he put the rag on her cuts, wincing when they were treated. Though she kept most other noises inside, when she was finally bandaged back up again, she moved to hug him tightly, burying her face in him.
She just wanted to hug and not let go, but eventually after hugging for a few minutes her stomach grumbled, signaling that she was hungry.
She was thirsty too, the crying had made her water supply shorter and her mouth had felt very dry.
"T-thank you.."

@Young-Dusty-the-Monarch-of-Dusteria group

"A'course, hun." Gus returned the hug gently, then reached down and picked up the water and chocolate bar. "Here. Take these, you gotta keep your strength up. An' after that, I reckon it's time for bed." He hesitated. "Thanks for trustin' me, Jasper. I hope you'll tell me more about this when you're feelin' better. I said I wanted to help you, and I do mean it. Alright?"

She rubbed her eyes before moving to grab the chocolate and water, she drank the water down a little bit fast, before swallowing and exhaling. She then grabbed the chocolate, eating it a bit slower.
She yawned as she continued to eat her chocolate, she nodded to him as he spoke.
"Im..n-not used to someone meaning it..thank you, for c-caring.." She spoke softly, looking up at him with a gleam in her eyes.

(IM SO SORRY I TOTALLY THOUGHT THAT I HAD POSTED MY RESPONSE WHAT)

Jesse's eyes shifted from one to the other, debating whether or not to say anything.
Then she had to remember that this world was a lot different now. There wasn't anyone after her anymore and hopping from one place to another looking for her. Nobody asking if they knew a Jesse Nahdi. Nobody trying to find a random huge German lady.
The worst that could happen here is she tells them her name, they go off and tell the other group and they come after her. Which she definitely wasn't concerned about them either. So she takes a small breath "Jesse" she says lowly, annoyed at the whole situation.
"where are you coming from?" she asks, debating on lowering the gun, but not quite doing so just yet.
