Adelia is the second eldest of four daughters in line to the royal throne of Sunshire, currently reigned by her parents – the king and queen. It was obviously her older sister's birthright to be next in line for the throne, but she was caught one night in the deepest sections of the royal library, reading, studying, and practicing dark magic. The king and queen, with heavy hearts, banished their eldest daughter from the castle and the light lands of Sunshire.

On the night when she was packing her things to leave, the eldest made an attempt to corrupt Adelia with her newly learned dark powers. But Adelia fought back against her sister with the light magic her parents had taught her to embrace. The eldest left in a fury when her own sister refused to join her.

In the morning, the two youngest sisters were both missing from their beds. The king and queen were convinced that they'd only gone into one of the nearby towns for new dress fabric or frivolous shopping, but Adelia knew the truth. Her sisters would not be coming back. The eldest had corrupted them, brainwashed them into believing that it was not her, but their parents that were evil.

The king and queen have grown old since the banishment of their daughters, and Adelia has ascended as a queen consort to the throne of Sunshire, and her eldest sister (who is now known as the Mistress of Evil) is planning her return, with the help of the youngest two sisters, to win back what is rightfully hers.

And, to make things interesting, the Queen Consort of Sunshire has a secret…

Name: Kathrina Sommer

Title/Alias: Amata (coven alias)

Appearance: 5’ 7”, Dark auburn hair, emerald eyes, usually has some sort of dark makeup on her face, loves black fingernail polish

Outfits: Black dresses. She rarely wears anything else, but when she does, it’s always black. Wears a feather earring in right ear. Often wears a skull necklace and several rings, one on each finger.

General Personality: Unsociable, vicious, prone to staying up at night brewing potions and befriending the dead. She is only friendly toward her evil sisters, her fellow witches, and her undead friends. She dislikes the living.

Background: After leaving, Kathrina followed her elder sister for a while. Though, she soon decided to go her own way until her elder sister was ready to attack the castle. She settled in a cottage near a small village, where she would not easily be found, and has lived there since, occasionally causing trouble in the village or nearby cities. During her ‘downtime’, Kathrina joined a secret coven of witches based deep in the woods near her cottage, learning and gaining power.

Strengths: Alchemy (particularly poisons), Darkness, her evil sisters

Weaknesses: Light, being social, waking before noon

Powers/abilities: Necromancy, Poison-making, conjuring (can summon foul spirits/entities to serve her for a time), can magically speak any language, broom-flying (only at night)

Weapons: Has long fingernails shaped like claws, usually paints them black. Knows archery and some swordfighting (most familiar with shortswords and daggers). Prefers to use magic or potions.

Name: Thranlin Sommer

Title/Alias: the Dark Lady, the Mistress of Evil, the Banished Queen

Appearance: 5'9, darker skin tone than her sisters, green eyes and brown hair that appears reddish in the light. Wears more practical clothing (tunic, fitted trousers, and a skirt) most of the time but loves the chance to don a complex gown in dramatic colors. Hair braided and falling down past her shoulders.

Personality: Arrogant, much less prim than her sister, thinks Adelia isn't capable of understanding certain things because she's too uptight. Likes to mentor people and has been teaching her younger sisters dark magic, although she keeps the most powerful spells for herself so they can never match her strength.

Backstory: Been exiled for around a decade. Lives in hiding in the kingdom beyond Sunshire, and has used her dark powers to gather resources and a following of loyalists who wish to reinstate her as queen.

Powers/abilities: Illusions, magical persuasion but only on people who already trust her a little, summoning dark forces to fight for her.

Weapons: Picked up archery during her exile.

Name: Nathaira Sommer

Title/Alias: The Serpentine Siren

Appearance: 5' 8" with paler skin than her sister's and acid green eyes. She has an elegant figure and white hair styled in a bob. She has a snake (slit and long) tongue and green scales dappling her shoulders. She has, oddly, retractable claws and only 4 fingers (including the thumb).

Outfits: Black and green tunic with black pants, arm cuffs and black and green boots. Doesn't like dresses much.

General Personality: Confident, sly and a bit flamboyant. She is deceptive, cruel and likes to trick people and steal things from them.

Background: Can't think of anything sorry.

Strengths: Great using her weapon, quite clever

Weaknesses: Not very strong on her own, weak to smoke (more so than the average person)

Powers/abilities: Hypnotic voice.

Weapons: A spear made with silver, satin and maple wood.

Theme song: Siren by Kailee Morgue

Other: Nathaira is 32 and is no longer 100% human.
