Nori scoffed.
"The hell? This is like… six stars!"
He quickly scarfed his plate down, grinning happily.
"Im glad you're cooking, my friend. If it was me, I dunno if we would last three months."

Norkhal’rokh snickered, but didn’t comment, deciding against using any remarks that could be seen as snide.

He didn’t eat as quickly as Nori, but he soon finished his plate, contented afterward. He then laughed at Nori’s comment.

“I’m glad as well. We wouldn’t last a day, if I was cooking,”he replied, still laughing.

kane flushed " guys its really nothing, like nok said.. its not five star, just regular old cooking.."

(that username change threw me off for a sec XD)

Nori ruffled Kane's hair. "Then I love it. Now, what are we gonna do today?"

Norkhal’rokh listened, then snickered.

“I’m up for anything. Though, at… one-o-clock, I do have an appointment,”Norkhal’rokh replied casually.

Nori raised an eyebrow, resting his head on his hand. "Oh?"

“It’s a… business meeting,”Norkhal’rokh answered. He cleared his throat, a shy gleam appearing in his eyes.

" okay, I'll just go to the ice rink, " he said and went to go get changed

Nori looked around. "Business meeting?? Ice rink?? Where am I gonna go?!" He made the saddest face he could. "Could I please pleaseee come with someone?"

" fine. You can come with me " Kane chuckled and picked nori up " let's go,"

Nori grinned, making a purr sound as he wrapped his arms around Kane's neck. "So what, you a ice skater kinda guy or something?" He flashed a smile at Nok as he leaned back. "Have fun at your meeting!"

"yes, yes I am," he said and twirled a bit

Norkhal’rokh snickered as he watched the two. There was the briefest flash of melancholy in his eyes, because he had lied about the appointment. It had nothing to do with his family’s business.

“I’ll see you two at the rink if I can. I don’t know how long I’ll be gone,”he said to the pair.

Kane nodded and smiled " see ya there pretty boy." He joked

Norkhal’rokh laughed, following them out. He then headed for his car, Edmund waiting on him with the car door open.

Nori smiled back at Nok, waving goodbye. then sighed as he leaned on Kane. "So, funny story, I never even learned how to rollerblade. So… I dunno if i'll even get on the rink." He chuckled nervously

" I'll help you," Kane said and rubbed noris side

Nori chuckled. "good luck with that." He started unconsciously singing the words to Industry Baby, while checking his phone. Though, he immediately stopped singing once he saw a picture of his sister… holding up a magazine.
"…shit."

" what?" He asked and looked to nori

Nori, who's face was now a bright shade of crimson, put away his phone as he focused on following Kane. "Its… nothing."

Norkhal’rokh waved one last time to the pair before Edmund shut the door. The drive was silent, Edmund understanding how nervous Norkhal’rokh got regarding this particular appointment.

They returned to his home so he could change clothes and freshen up. Then, after another quiet drive, they arrived at the hospital, and Norkhal’rokh took a deep breath before stepping out of the car. Why did he always get so nervous? He had been doing this monthly, sometimes weekly, for years. And he still got nervous.

Norkhal’rokh headed inside and one of the receptionists nodded, recognizing him. He smiled shyly, then, when he was called, went to see his doctor.

(Don’t mind the mystery. It was too tempting to resist, lol)

(lol okay) " seriously, what's going on?" He said sternly.

(Noooo whats happening to him?!)

Nori sighed. "Fine, fine. So, my sister's a photographer, right? Cute little thing, she wanted me to do a photoshoot a few months ago for one of her internships, and I thought, hell, why not. But apparently her internship pictures were actually GOOD, so…" He blushed, pressing his lips together. "I may be on the cover of a slightly popular magazine. Maybe."

" mm time i go buy fifty copies" he teased " com on before it gets to cold for ya,"

Nori blushed hard, muttering obscenities as he followed after Kane.
