(Ok, so I'm going to start with a regular day at the adoption centre and you can do whatever)

It was a sunny morning, cars were racing down the street, sounds of laughter and talking were coming from the park, and inside a certain building, a group of kids were sitting around a table learning how to write. Alaric squinted at his paper and scratched the pencil onto the surface. There were squiggles and dots, but he had done it. He ran to the teacher and showed his paper where he got a gold star on his name and a sticker as a reward. Running back to his table, Alarik took out his bag and out the sticker in the little pocket he kept all his rewards in.

By that time, everyone had written there names and it was time to go outside and play. They could have played in the centres playground, but it was such a beautiful day, the teacher took them all to the park.

Aisling was sitting in the teacher's lounge in one of the corners. It was supposed to be her day off, not like teachers really got one. But there was so much that needed to be done, and her apartment wasn't the best place to work at the moment. The people above her were moving out, so it was too noisy for her to concentrate. She sighed quietly going through her emails and waiting for the specific one. She had applied months ago, and especially since she knew most of the people at the agency it was easier for her and took less time than normal for her to go through the process, earn more and more points, and be approved. She had visited the centre a couple of times, and she truly had fallen in love with one of the children, although the child really didn't know that she was interested in adopting him. It had taken a long time for her to earn the points, completing so many community service hours, and such, but she had finally gotten there, now she had to wait for her approval. She took a sip of her cup of coffee as she refreshed her email tab yet again, just waiting. Until the email finally came in a few seconds later. She took a deep breath as she opened it, and her eyes quickly scanned the email to the bottom, past all the formalities to find out if it was a yes or no. Her heart nearly skipped a beat as she read it, she was approved!!!!!! She jumped up nearly knocking over her mug and laptop, "YES!!!!!!!!!" She squealed, drawing attention to her from everyone, "I'M APPROVED!!!!!!" Some of the other teachers gave her a thumbs up or a hug before going back to their conversations, not all of them truly shared her joy. She sat back down finally reading all of the email, and noted that know she would finally be able to truly be able to spend time with the child and continue the process.

Alaric walked with his teacher around the playground. As much as he loves to play, Alaric just wasn't in the mood to chase after people. He had been given to the agency at only 2 weeks old and around that time, another baby appeared. As they grew up, Alaric and the other baby became fast friends and it was only a few days ago that she got adopted.

Adoption was a beautiful thing at the agency, the children got dressed in a brand new outfit, got to have a party with their friends and recieve goodbye gifts from the caretakers, although the gifts weren't exactly gifts. People interested in adopting were given a small questionnaire when applying. The questionnaire included a section where the potential parent would include the type of child they were looking, or a child who they were interested I'm adopting from the agency, and also things they would need for the child. Most parents simply requested toys and clothes as one of the requirements for adopting was having a steady income.

Alaric missed his best friend very much and the teacher knew, that why she allowed the little boy to walk alongside her as she supervised the kids.

(Okay, so I'm lowkey confused on how to get the two characters to meet, or something along those lines.)

(Ok, so I mentioned how before adopting a questionnaire needed to be filled. Either Aisling could have taken a liking to Alaric or she could come to the agency and sat with the kids to see who she wanted. Alaric, being upset from his friend leaving, could be very uninterested and sitting quietly and she could be intrugued)

@Calanthe

(Okay, I had mentioned that she really fallen for I'm guessing Alaric, so perhaps now she begins to form the bond, at least more with him?)

Aisling sighed happily as she made her way to her car. Today she would get to talk to that child again. He was a perfect child, or at least perfect for her, but he ignored her the first time they had met. Hopefully he would maybe more interested in talking to her today. She would try to speak to him, and maybe, just maybe she would bring him out of his shell. She sighed as she started to drive to the agency, it was a perfect day for a walk, 'Maybe I could take him for a walk, I think he might like it.' Before she knew it she was at the agency.

The teacher recieved a call from the agency mentioning that there were a.couple potential parents here to see their potential children. She hurriedly gathered the children and walked back to the agency. There she out the kids in a playroom and let them do whatever they wanted while she herself went to go greet the parents.

@Calanthe

Aisling fidgited nervously with the edge of her skirt while she waited to see the children. While she waited she tried to give herself a bit of a peptalk. 'Come on Aisling you got this! You need to just take a few deep breaths and calm down. You aren't scared of meeting the child? Are you? After all, you're around children all the time." She must have looked terrified though, since a couple sitting across from her began to whisper and give her pointed looks.
