“Finally,” Keenan sighed. He swam back to his seashell area and started playing with his seashells again.

Matrix gracefully swims at the very bottom of the area. He comes to a sharp drop off and dives down to the bottom which caused his ears to pop

Maddox swam ahead, looking around for Lucinda. "Lucinda! Luce, are you there? Hello? Lucinda?"

(sorry I disappeared! Been super busy lately!)

Lucinda flicked her tail and whirled around, seeing Maddox and Moxiey approaching. She felt herself relax and swam over. "Oh thank God you're okay."

"Not entirely without casualties, but yes, we're both fine." Maddox swam over to Lucinda.

Her eyes darted to his shoulder and she was immediately at his side, examining the area. Her hands hovered over the makeshift seaweed bandage, not touching. "What happened?"

"Just got hit by the anchor; it's nothing, really." Maddox winced when Lucinda touched the wound.

She frowned, pulling her hands away. "Keep an eye on it. If it doesn't heal properly, I might have to get that weird medicine stuff that humans use."

"Alright, let's just get back home." Maddox swam past Lucinda quietly, swiftly making his way home and curling up in his usual corner. He always went there when he wanted to be alone and/or think.

Lucinda followed him home. She drifted around their cave absently, her usual child like demeanor seemingly gone. She sighed, settling down on the cave floor.

Maddox had his back to the cave, facing the wall and seemingly deep in thought. He fidgeted with the seaweed wrappings, tugging at them gently.

Moxiey was uncharacteristically quiet the whole time. She kept playing with her hair or hands.
