Ignis began to conjure a sort of spell. Glowing sigils begin to float around the group, "Oh please work…" he whispered, "Hold on! It's been a while since I did this!… let's hope we don't die…"

Ignis smiled one last time to Kali, "Just kidding!" A blast of green magic enveloped the room, shifting the air around them. The room felt still after that, even more than before. A green energy lined the room, as if enchanted.

The siblings just sort of stood there, a little confused and then scared when the whole "let's hope we don't die" part arose, before sighing with exasperation when it was only a poorly timed joke. Alister did end up moving closer to Evan when the green magic poured out, squeezing his eyes shut. Noel made a noise of surprise before letting out an awed "Oooo." Her eyes flitted about, taking in the way the energy seemed to weave itself into the environment, while her fingers moved through the air.

Noel's fingers made a fluid ripple in the air. It was short and faded not too long after, but it intrigued her, nonetheless. Ignis smiled as he too moved his fingers around slightly, "Welcome to the Timeless Void. A parallel of our world, frozen in time. Home to Helios, the embodiment of time itself." Ignis waved his arms as flames engulfed them. Moving in such a pattern that soon formed the shape of a lotus flower. Ignis smiled and moved back, watching the fiery flower turn green before flashing away.

He then pondered his history, "While the Elementals watched over this world, their siblings, the Celestials, managed over the space that was left uncared for. The twins of Time and Space, along with the help from the Elementals, created what many know as magic. Spells powerful enough to forge galaxies and even the stars. While Time's name is more complex than human comprehension, I gave him the name Helios."

Ignis saw the groups hesitation and knew their caution, "Don't worry! Helios is a good guy! And this world?" Ignis violently kicks a nearby table, only to have it return to its normal state, "That…is because of the spell. If we were actually in the Void, time would feel natural….er….more natural than this."

Ignis moved to Kali, "Remember how the food didn't lose any heat? It wasn't heated up again, the heat and the food stayed still. Helios was in the building! Also, Helios and his twin could always hide themselves from the Elementals. Which is why Astra could never sense Helios in the building."

Alister opened his eyes, closed them again when Ignis produced the fiery flower, then opened them again. He kept close to Evan, but patted his shoulder to let the other boy know that he was alright.
Noel just furrowed her brow, trying to understand everything Ignis was saying. “So… this is like the Shadow Realm?“ she asked. “Also. Why Helios? That name doesn’t fit at all.” She giggled.

Kali nodded, "That makes sense yeah."

Evan was just trying to grasp it. He didn't really understand a lot of this but he didn't bother saying anything.
