Hailey was still crying softly, and Calliope was rubbing her back and keeping up with little murmurs in her ear.

asra nodded, laying down. asra was starting to take a warmer temp.

D'Arcy stroked his hair gently. "We'll figure this out," he said, addressing everyone with his words. "I promise."

asra sighed. " we should all just take the damn day off. we need it.."

"I agree," Calliope agreed, stroking Hailey's hair gently.

asra sighed " im going to cook breakfast"

"No, you're going to stay in bed," D'Arcy insisted.

" im the omega, i have to do something." he said and walked out of the room

in a few minutes, asra ha the house smelling wonderful and warm

D'Arcy chuckled. "Go on downstairs," he urged the women.

Calliope bit back a snarky response and instead guided Hailey down the stairs.

asra had cooked up something fierce. bacon and eggs along with sausage sandwiches. " foods done !" he said a little pitchy

The two girls came down, and a few minutes later, D'Arcy came down in sweatpants and an old t-shirt.

asra smiled and offered his alpha a plate " see? omegas cook"

D'Arcy chuckled. "Yes, I see." He reached out and ruffled Asra's hair with a grin as he took the plate.

asra smiled and handed everyone a plate. he took a seat next to his alpha and ate silently

D'Arcy looked over at Asra. "Are you okay?" he murmured.

"yeah," he said softly

D'Arcy took his omega's chin in his fingers and tilted his head so they were making eye contact. "You're sure?"

" yes arcy," he whispered, his grey eyes watching the others

The alpha leaned down, partially guiding his omega up, and kissed him briefly.
