Drew couldn't help but smile to herself, despite the situation, she already felt quite satisfied with the progression of their impressions already. Sure, the time and place wasn't ideal but now at least she knew that she was surrounded by allies. Well, apart from the other woman in the cart, she wasn't pleased with the cold, silent act radiating from her but Drew supposed she truly could just be scared.
Drew wasn't scared. This nightmare was nothing but a dream for her and funnily enough, most dreams soon turned to nightmares for Drew. The normal one was her being ripped from the arms of her real mother in their village, the shrieks of her family, she had been forced to take part in unfathomable things by faceless men and sold more than once. America was supposed to be her safe place, she was supposed to be safe in the arms of a loving, rich family. And yet, the nightmares still came.
She had to focus on the present, getting to the next safe place and dealing with this disaster of a holiday.
"If I may be frank with you all for a moment, I have something I'd like to bring up. It may prove important." Drew kept her voice too low for the guards to hear. "I ask you three only this. If these officers are certain enough that the murderer will be found, enough that they'll let the train move on, and they still remain in this section. Doesn't the suggest the murderer is very much among us?"
