Well, a person will be filming a documentary on Baylee and his personalities, and she decides to bring in an old friend of his to see each of the alter's reactions. THe friend decides to stick around to try and help Baylee eith everything that going on in his head.

"So who am I talking to right now?" The camerawoman asked the boy sitting on the black leather couch.
"This is Rich," the boy responded in a gruff voice, glaring at the camera.
His entire posture seemed to be different. He slouched in the chair with his arms crossed over his chest, looking ready to tear someone's head off if they said the wrong thing. The exact opposite of the way Baylee acted once before.
"And how old are you, RIch."
"36."
The camerawoman rolled her eyes at the response. "Alright, we have someone that Baylee knew before the accident. I wanna see if you recognize her."
Rich shrugged in response. "Sure."
He looked expectantly at the front door form his couch in the living room

Evelyn tugged on the sleeve of her denim jacket for what felt like the hundredth time. Maybe this was a mistake, and she shouldn't have agreed to do this. What if it just made things worse for Baylee? Shaking her head to dispel the doubts, she tugged her hand through her red hair. She'd started dying it after the accident, but had started to grow it back out just a couple months ago, leaving it choppy and short, but natural.

And that was her cue. Taking a deep breath, she shoved one hand in the pocket of her jacket, and turned the knob on the front door, pushing it open.

"Yeah. That Evelyn girl he was messin' with before the car crash." Each word seemed to be bit at the end, like they left a bad taste in his mouth.
He looked completely different since the last time she had seen him. His thin, scrawny frame had filled out with enough muscle to make him 20 years older than he was. An inkling of a 5 o'clock shadow dusted his cheeks, and he now wore a pair of thin-framed glasses when his vision was 20/20. His eyes looked her up and down the way a predator would study its prey.

Bad idea bad idea bad idea. She shot a slightly panicked look to the camerawoman, chewing on her bottom lip as she appeared to try and disappear into her jacket in the spot. "Er-yeah. It's…been a while?" That wasn't her Baylee, that much was for sure. And now…she wasn't sure what to do.

"Is there somethin' wrong with my face, lady?" he asked, squinting at the cowering figure in front of him
"Rich," the camerawoman, who's name happened to be Lorine, said in a chiding voice, "This girl came all the way from New Jersey to see her friend. Don't scare her off the first 5 minutes."
Rich scrunched his nose up in frustration, but put a cork in it, scooting over so there was enough space on the couch for Evelyn.
"This," Lorine said, shooting Eve and apologetic look, "Is Rich."

Eve hesitantly took the offered spot, making sure to give Rich space, and avoided looking directly at him. "It's…nice to meet you, Rich." She focused down on her hands, locked tightly on her lap.

"What are you doing here?" he asked Eve, ignoring another chastizing look from Lorine. "What do you plan on gaining from this?"
"She wants to see her friend, asshat," Lorine snapped, looking tired of Rich's shit already.

@croccin-champagne

She nodded, forcing herself to speak. No stuttering, no silent nods. "I'm here to see Baylee." She said quietly, looking up at Rich. "Well, I was, but I guess I'm talking to you now."

"He's still up here," he said, rubbing his nose and turning back to Lorine. "He's just asleep right now."
"Could you get Martin to wake him up? This girl came a long way."
Rich scowled for a moment, but nodded, closing his eyes. After a minute, his eyes opened, and he immediately winced, taking the glasses off and setting them on the side table beside them. His shoulders scrunched up in awkwardness as he made eye contact with Eve. "Oh, shit," Baylee said, his eyes going wide.

@croccin-champagne

Eve blinked, the change a bit startling. She hadn't expected Rich to listen to Lorine, either. "H-hey." She winced at the stutter, mentally scolding herself as she raised one hand in a small, awkward wave. That was Baylee. The Baylee she had known, even if he looked different.

He turned to Lorine, his jaw slightly slack. "I thought Martin was lying," he said in a breathless tone. The aggressive posture was gone, replaced by one that looked like he was uncomfortable in his own skin. He rubbed the hair on his face with a cringe, obviously still unfamiliar with the feling still.

She resumed fiddling with her hands, her sleeve, her bracelets, anything she could. His reaction was less hostile than Rich's had been, which was a relief. But she knew not to get her hopes up about anything. He was different now, and so was she. Things had changed, and whether it was for the better was definitely out there, nearing not-so-much.
