Darwin gave her a few memories he'd received from Ceres. A tall, strong-looking man with grey eyes. Odysseus Her father. Helios Her first experience in this country, and various others.
"My master is quite the important figure, you can trust her words." He finished.
What knowledge? Eyebrow wiggle as I wish someone would take my poor Teddy under their wing. I'm looking at you Shuri, wink wonk.//
Sure. Alvis is being a wallflower as of right now…

I meant one of the horsemen but that works too, I'm very tired and covered in dog slobber.//

Of course! Teddy and War have a lot in common.
(I feel like Ninon would end up becoming a protective mom-friend to Teddy after she gets to know him…)
Teddy watched this shit go down with a smile, taking note of the weapons and the spirit. This is so fucking cool. He remarked in his head, you would never hear him swearing out loud but he swears all the time internally.
Darwin gave her a few memories he'd received from Ceres. A tall, strong-looking man with grey eyes. Odysseus Her father. Helios Her first experience in this country, and various others.
"My master is quite the important figure, you can trust her words." He finished.
"O-okay…" Ninon breathed out as images and foreign memories flooded her mind's eye, watching these memories play out as scenes in front of her. She blinked several times, trying to clear her sight again to locate Darwin. "Why…?" she asked uncharacteristically softly.
Immediately Warwaved his hand, bringing up a uh urst of flames from nowhere. He casts it into the spirit's mouth, and then down It's throat, as a gunshot fired from Famine flies through the mouth on the back of its head.
The spirit dissipated out of reality, as if it were never there.

"Because you don't seem to get her methods. Our master is vulgar and capricious and stubborn, but she knows what she is doing." He explained.
"Awesome," Teddy said in awe as he let go of the breath he didn't realize he was holding. "That was so cool!" He murmured under his breath, his fingers itching to grab his notepad.
"Obviously I would question her methods; I barely know her, but that's not what I meant…" Ninon shook her head, her usual rough-and-tumble self coming back to her now. "Why is she here? Why is she running this camp? She could be doing so much more with that kind of power and charisma… so why this?"
"Thanks kid!" Walsh said, unusually bright for the personification of War. "You wanted to see my sword?"
Teddy's eyes grew bright as a grin slid across his face. "YES! Yes, please!" He exclaimed, totaly not fangirling at the weapons and especially not fangirling from Walsh's sword. No

"Well, because she finds it fun, of course! I have trouble relating to the feeble, limited minds of humans, but if I were to guess, I'd have to say it was 'He of the grey eyes', Odysseus, who brought this change about her… She was very cynical before him…"
Darwin paused.
"She is still recovering from the contract she made with us a few of your years ago… So she figures that, since she is not powerful enough to deal with this on her own, she might as well train others to do so…"

"It's unbreakable, so you don't have to worry." The Horseman handed over his weapon.
"Careful, it's heavy for humans."
Teddy had a bit of trouble at first while holding it, but fixed his grip so he could balance it better. "What is it made of?" He asked in wonderment, his eyes the size of the moon as he looked at the majestic blade.
"It's made of adamant… It can't be broken!" War replied. "Not to be confused with the stuff from the X-Men movies, which was named after it."
Ceres laughed, an unusually cute sound.
"Walsh, I didn't know you watch movies, especially considering what you are…" She said.
(Adamantium from Marvel is actually named after the mythological metal adamant.)
"Awesome! I wonder if my magic works on adamant…" Teddy exclaimed before muttering the last part to himself, he was curious by nature.

"That's fair… mind explaining the contract?" She pressed for more information, curious as ever about her new 'family'. Best if I know all of what I can if I'm going to be trained by them…
"~I don't even know why myself… Knowing her, it's probably just to see if she could…~" Darwin said, opening the med-tent telrkinetically.
"~But I do know that she asked me if I could bring back Odysseus once…~"
Yo wassup. I'm Jared, I'm 23 and I never learned how to fucking read.//
(You guys are flying through the pages!)
"What was that?!" Yang demanded to know what was going on. Her hands were clenched in fists so tightly that her knuckles were white, yet she did not open them. "And why is it here?"
"That…" Ceres said. Is a spirit that we let in to show you how we do things here… I'm surprised you can sense it, being as you have no psychic powers…"
Yang: Thanks for fucking rubbing it in//
Alex didn't even know what to think. Director Lady can fight?? Sigh. Watch and learn, Alex. Watch and learn. She still has no clue what's going on, but she made sure her face didn't show it.
"That…" Ceres said. Is a spirit that we let in to show you how we do things here… I'm surprised you can sense it, being as you have no psychic powers…"
Yang was shocked and angry that she had said that out loud, but what did she expect? She tried to act calm, but her anger showed in her face and tone. "I came here because I've trained my whole life! Powers or not, I can take on you guys!"

"You are probably a match for the average psychic!" Ceres said, honestly. "But we will see how you do later…"
