Phoenix doubted her friend's words, but let it drop, knowing Addi would talk about it when she was ready.
She stood and turned to the others gathered around the cave. The cave she had once called home.
Again, she shook her head, trying to get rid of the memories surfacing.
"How is everyone doing? does anyone need anything?" she asked, looking at each of them in turn.
There was a sudden rustling from the ferns a few feet away
Lucille whipped her head towards the ferns.

A very annoyed-looking Cyprus stomped through the ferns. He was covered in what looked like dirt and maybe blood, and oil was smeared across his left cheek. He held a box covered in odd carvings under one arm
Addison frowned at Cyprus. She was going to yell at Jay later about the fine line between sweet and stupid.
Cyprus angrily walked to the group. "Gods, that was tedious. Oh, by the way I ate the chimera. You're welcome." He sat down on the ground and opened the box
Hestia punched Cyprus, slamming him into a nearby tree.
"Shut it and cast the spell already," Phoenix sighed, rolling her eyes at the ghost, "And if it goes wrong I will personally send you back to the Underworld."
Addi could feel bile rising to her throat. That's gross.
