Blaine smiled down warmly at Andion, watching as he charmed the kids. When the mother spoke to her, she looked up and gave her a small smile.
"Hello. I'm Blaine, and this is my boyfriend, Andion," she introduced them.
Blaine smiled down warmly at Andion, watching as he charmed the kids. When the mother spoke to her, she looked up and gave her a small smile.
"Hello. I'm Blaine, and this is my boyfriend, Andion," she introduced them.
The mother smiled back, "Nice to meet you Blaine. I'm Helena, this is my husband, Edward," The taller male gave her a short wave in greeting, "And these are our children, William and Lily."
“Pleasure to meet you,” Blaine said with a polite smile. “Where are you all headed?”
"Maradova, just like you I presume?" Helena raised an eyebrow.
Blaine smiled with a small nod. "Yes, actually. My boyfriend and I thought it would be a nice vacation." Not exactly a lie… But definitely not the whole truth…
Helena smiled softly, looking out over the waters once again before turning to where loud laughs were erupting from Lily, Andion and William, "It;s nice to see those two laughing again."
Blaine followed the woman’s gaze, her smile softening as she looked at the trio. Andion looked so happy… She hoped he could be that happy with her someday. And maybe their own kids, even…
“I don’t know if I’ve ever seen him laughing so much,” she admitted in a low murmur, as if speaking to herself.
Helena took one of Blaine’s hands in her own and squeezed a little, “Children bring out a side of people they tend to lock away, everyone has their reasons for doing so,” She offered a smile, “Maybe one day your man will tell his, but for now, it’s best to just admire, these days it’s hard to find such happiness.”
Blaine gave the older woman a thankful smile, squeezing back gratefully. “Thank you. I hope he will. I love seeing him happy.”
“I love seeing my kids happy, too. Are you planning on staying in Maradova?” She asked, glancing at her kids one more time.
“I’m not sure. For a while, at least. If things don’t work out there, though, we’ll go elsewhere,” Blaine replied, going back to watching the kids playing with her boyfriend.
Helena nodded and patted her shoulder, "Ah, okay. I understand."
Andion had Lily on his shoulders, pretending to be a bird or something that flew and so was William. All of them had grins wider then anybody would have ever seen, when one laughed, the others did, too.
Blaine watched them a while longer before making her way over. "What're you guys playing?"
"Andion is imitating a bird and making me fly! William is tying to catch me!" Lily giggled, patting Andion on the head while the two boys laughed.
"Oh, what if I pretend to bee a bird, too? Then we could play a game. The boys try to catch the birds, us girls," Blaine suggested with a smile.
Lily clapped her hands and nodded eagerly, "Yes! I like that idea!"
Blaine grinned at the girl. "Wonderful. Think you can be a bird on your own, or should I carry you?"
"Can you carry me? Pweeeeese?" Andion placed Lily down and the younger girl gave Blaine her best puppy dog eyes.
Blaine smiled down at Lily and nodded. "Of course. Hop Ito my back," she chuckled, turning around and bending down.
Lily took a few steps back as she was fairly short, and jumped up onto Blaine's back, wrapping her legs around the older's middle.
Blaine gently grabbed the little girl’s legs and stood up, grinning over at the boys. “Think you can catch us?”
William snorted, "Uh duh, 'course we can." He grinned, nudging Andion in the side.
"Yup, Will is right, we totally going to catch you."
"I'd like to see you try. Right, Lily," Blaine chuckled. "They've got nothing on us girls."
"Yup!" Lily giggled, wrapping her arms around Blaine.
"Okay okay, one three, we move," Andion started, "One, two… three!"
Blaine laughed as she hurried away. She glanced over her shoulder once to check where the boys were, then continued to run away from them.
William and Andion followed a few moments later, splitting up to hopefully corner the girls. Lily squeaked a little but then laughed loudly.
"What do you think they'd do if we turned this around in them? We could totally catch them instead of them catching us," Blaine chuckled in amusement.
Lily giggled, looking over her shoulder at her brother before turning back around, "I like we could catch them too."
Blaine grinned and glanced at the girl over her shoulder. "Do you want to stay with me, or should we split up like they did?"
"Stay with you." Lily replied, holding on a little tighter.
