Which reminds me, I've realized recently that one of my characters might be a slight Mary/Gary sue and I'm mad lol
Lol Magenta (a character I made last year) was a Mary Sue for a while and I didn’t notice until I used the character in a story, then I was like “HMMM M oh shoot she’s perfect! This is very bad…”
lol I have a character who's the sweetest guy, he's also described as really attractive, always wants to make people smile, is on the football team, befriends the lonely guy at school… he does have flaws though, he has a violent side to himself that he tries to keep contained, and constantly feels guilty about the death of his sister, even though it wasn't his fault at all
He's not the main character though so I think it'll be okay. The main character has a good heart, but several flaws and emotional issues
I had a Mary Sue at one point. And looking back I realize that she was very very boring too.
