"Nice to meet you, Farron. Azura said you two just came through here for the sake of adventure. Find anything interesting yet?" Lynn said.
Azura tried to act like she wasn't paying attention and kept reading her book.

(Uh sure, yeah, I don't mind as long as it's not published or anything)
Farron tensed and scratched the back of his neck, willing himself to relax, "Not really, no. Mrs Baker gave us a riddle to solve but nothing worth looking into."

(No problem., it’s great to know we have a loyal stalker who loves our RP lol)
“Ooh, a riddle? What kind?” Lynn was persistent. Azura decided to roll in, even though she had Farron weren’t on the best of terms, because he clearly didn’t want to answer the question.
“It was like a poem or something, she just asked us what we thought it meant.” She came down the stairway and handed Lynn a stack of books.
“These I want to put back, because I really don’t have time to check them out, but,” she pointed to another stack, “these I have to check out. They’re way too good to leave!”

Farron averted his gaze from Azura and the books and looked towards the ground, "Well uh… it was nice to meet you Lynn but I'm going to get a drink at the inn. See you round." He gave the girl a smile before walking off.

“Huh, he’s weird,” Lynn said. But it seemed, to azura’s relief, that she wouldn’t give the conversation another thought.

Farron released a breath, even though he tried to ignore what Lynn had said. He ran a hand through his hair and took a detour to the small market. Maybe he could find something for Azura as an apology for getting mad.

Azura checked her books out and headed down the street to the inn. She was a bit hungry since she hadn’t had breakfast, so she tried to find somewhere to eat other than Mrs. Bakers shop. The town didn’t have much, though, so it took her a while to find somewhere to eat.

The market was filled with different kinds of foods, items and trinkets with various other things. Farron half smiled to himself as he walked up to a table with necklaces, different coloured gems hanging from them. Beautiful… He picked up a few and admired them in the light.

She found a small bakery and decided to just buy something from there. Once she ate, she headed back to the inn, and she had nothing else to think about but Farron.
What did I do?

After a while, he picked up a dark blue and purple gem, paid for it and headed back to the inn. When he was back at the room, he found Azura already there, "A-Azura? C-can I talk to you?"

She looked up from the note that she was still trying to decipher.
"Sure," she said, looking uninterested.

Farron felt his heart break in two but he kept himself together. He hesitantly and slowly, walked towards her but stopped a few feet away, "Azura… I'm sorry… about this morning. I shouldn't have snapped at you like I did, I didn't mean to make you upset," He sighed through his nose, "It's just- I'm-" He swallowed, "I'm just stressed and… lost right now…"

Azura sighed.
"I understand. You really don't need to apologize. I should be the one apologizing, because I put you under more stress by asking you questions that you weren't ready to answer. I'm sorry." She gave him a tired smile.

Farron didn't manage to return it, "You don't have to apologise," He walked the last few steps towards her and pulled out the necklace, "I brought this as an apology, and also I thought it would look nice on you," He handed it to her before walking backwards again.

"Oh," she said, and held it up to her neck. "It's beautiful, thank you." she hugged him tight. When she pulled away, her face lit up.
"I've got it! I think I've got it! The note!" she reached for it and looked it over. "Yes! Read the first letter of every line!" She gave it to Farron to see for himself.

Farron took the note and narrowed his eyes at it, "I… am… not… dead… Farron…" He blinked and re-read it over and over, "But- it- alive. She's alive."

Azura was so excited, she jumped up and down.
"Farron? Do you know what this means?" her face was radiating with warmth. "The woman was your mother! And we are going to find her!"
She hugged him tight.

Farron hugged her back tightly, "She's alive. I'm- I'm going to have my mother back." He let out a laugh and spun Azura around happily.

"We should leave as soon as possible! Want to leave tomorrow?" she asked. She wanted so badly to give this guy the one thing that he asked for.

Farron nodded slowly, putting Azura down, “Sounds good. Only… we don’t actually know which way we need to go.”

"Well, there aren't many towns around here, all the others are a distance away. So, I figure we could just go to the small ones near here first. Did your mother leave you any information or clues as to where she might be?"

Farron shook his head, "No, I thought she was dead, remember?" He sighed, "Checking the smaller villages is a good idea and if she's not there we'll travel further. She might be hiding in the wilderness for all we know."

"Perfect," Azura said as she flopped happily onto the bed. She was in such a good mood that her face was aglow and her cool eyes sparkled like a lake on a sunny day.
"I guess I'm gonna go back down to the bookstore then, since we're not coming back anytime soon," she chirped, and gathered her books that she had just put down a few minutes ago. "Want to come with me? I have some great books to show you."
