“Been there, experienced that,” He replied, glaring and struggling, “Now let me go!”
Farron still didn’t do as the boy asked.

Azura reached into Farron's hood pocket and took out the little necklace they found a few hours prior.
"Okay, let me ask you this," she said, and looked directly into his eyes. "Have you seen this necklace before?"

The boys eyes seemed to widen just a hint at the necklace but he soon glared at them and shook his head, “No, I have not.”

“Cut the act. We know you’re hiding something. I can see it in your face. And this is really important, we need to find this woman. Please!”
The boys face softened a bit. “Fine, but you have to promise not to say anything about this to anyone.”

Farron nodded, “We won’t. Princess honor.” He our s hand over his heart to signal his point before he slowly, let go of the boys hand with the other.

"They're holding her in the giant barn southwest from here," he pointed. "I really don't know why or anything, but they're paying me to watch her and keep the grounds safe. I don't know the name of the man who's keeping her; he told me to call him Sarge. Now," he huffed, "can I please go?"

Farron blinked once, twice before he nodded, “Y-Yeah. Yes, you… you can go…” He said quietly, swallowing shorty after.

All of a sudden, I don't know if I'm ready for this, Azura thought. She waited for Farron to say something as she watched the boy run off.

Farron was silent for a few moments before he spoke coldly, “We’re going. Come on.” He set off in the direction the boy went.

“Uh, Farron,” she stayed where she was and spoke while twiddling her fingers. “Maybe we should wait a minute. . .”

“Why? We know where she is and I’m getting her back.” Farron replied, clenching his fists.

"well, all of a sudden. . . its just that now, the game has changed a bit. Now, we could actually be in danger and have nowhere to run. . . I just think we should wait and try to think it through. . ." Honestly, she was very uncomfotable with the situation. She suddenly realized that this wasn't a game anymore, and that scared her.

“Azura. We’re so close,” Farron whispered, swallowing a lump in his thoat, “We can’t stop now. If we think too much we won’t go at all…”

"So what do we do, Farron?" she was a bit frustrated. "Just barge in there? They could have plenty of guards around her, we've never been there so we don't know where everything is? There's plenty of things that could go wrong. This whole thing isn't just about you anymore. It includes my safety, your mother's and possibly more."

“You think I don’t know that? If I had my way you wouldn’t be getting within a mile of this warehouse,” Farron said, running a hand though his hair, “We can scout out the area and the place before figuring out out next move.”

Azura didn't say anything else, but she knew Farron just didn't get it. This entire trip, since they left Rosgard, she had been putting him first. She did what he wanted to do, she didn't even bring up the fact that he was royalty but didn't tell her, she didn't get hung up on his brother, and now she was going on this super dangerous mission to help him get his mother back. And it started out as her problem. She didn't want to rule Rosgard yet, so she left. After they found Farron's mother, they would probably be headed back to the very place Azura ran away from. And in this moment, she was being a bit selfish and was wanting to do things her way.
But, she knew it was selfish, so she decided not to say anything else about it.

“Fine, give me the silent treatment.” Farron grumbled, turning his back to her with a sigh, “Maybe I shouldn’t have come with you in the first place…” He muttered.

"Maybe you shouldn't have," she said under her breath. She pulled her hood further up over her head.

“Stay here If you’re scared. Do whatever the hell you want to but I’m going and I’m getting my mum back.” Farron said beginning to walk.

She grabbed his arm.
"You know that's not fair. It's not about being scared. It's about being safe. Weren't we scared when we left Rosgard and Pryvlyn? But we did it anyway, the best way we knew how. We had some sort of plan. That's all I'm saying." She took a deep breath, then sighed. "You know too that I would do anything to help you get your mom back. I just think we should think about it a bit."

“Azura I…” Farron swallowed and looked liked he was on the brink of breaking down, “I’m sorry. You’re right we… we do need a plan…”

She hugged him tight. "I'm sorry too," she whispered. Then she looked up at him. "Maybe we could go back to town and ask people if they know who Sarge is and if they know anything about the barn?"

Farron nodded slowly, rubbing at his face with one hand, “Yeah… that’s a good idea,”

Azura looked carefully at his face, and saw that his eyes were a bit watery.
"Oh, Farron," she said softly, and wiped some tears from his face, "We'll get her back. I promise."

“I know but just…” He sighed and hung his head, “What if they’ve hurt her? What if she’s suffered some brain injury and can’t remember me? What if all of this is for nothing and by the time we get there they’ve…”

"Stop it. They're keeping her locked up, which means she might want to leave. If she didn't remember anything, why would she want to leave? And what reason would they have for hurting her? You're just scared, that's all. But it will all turn out okay."

Farron swallowed, “Sorry… guess I’m too emotional to think straight…”

"It'll all be over soon, and then you won't have to worry about this anymore," she said, and gave him a quick kiss. "Actually, now we can head back to town and look for some answers."
