Jace pulled his sister back and froze. He saw the trail of blood and then saw where it was coming from. One of the police was lying dead on the floor. "We need to get everyone out. Now."
Jace pulled his sister back and froze. He saw the trail of blood and then saw where it was coming from. One of the police was lying dead on the floor. "We need to get everyone out. Now."
Griffin froze in terror. “No..”, he whispered.
"Who did this? Who could've…. Who… What?" Lia stumbled on her words, not able to think.
Ana looked around, shocked. "There wasn't anyone else here, right?" She asked.
Griffin took deep breaths, hands shaking. “No one.”
Eli ran his fingers through his hair. "This doesn't makes sense…" He bent down, observing the police officer's body. "How do you think the officer was killed?"
Jace came back to the group a few seconds later. "He's not the only one. All four police officers are dead."
"All of them?!" Ana exclaimed as Eli stood up. "I can't figure out how this officer was killed. There's a wound, but I can't tell if it's from a knife or a gun or what."
Griffin shook his head desperately, stepping back. “N-no.”
Leo gripped his hair. He bent down and examined one of the bodies. "There are definitely fist injuries, bruises and such, but it doesn't look like that's what killed them."
Eli nodded, crossing his arms. Ana shivered. "Guys…we should leave. This is creepy."
"Let's do that. Now."
Lia forced herself to stop looking at the body on the ground. "Who could've done this?"
Eli shook his head. "Dunno. Maybe some of us should look around and try to find the person who did."
Leo bit his lip. "This seems… off. Haile and the ringmaster are both out there, right?"
"Are we absolutely sure that no one else is here?" Eli asked, looking around cautiously.
"We can't be sure. Like Leo said; Haile and the ringmaster are still tied up. There has to be someone else in here." Jace said with a blank stare.
"We should find them." Eli stated, also signing it for Ana, who shook her head. "No, we should leave. This is getting out of our control."
"I don't know. We should really try to stop these murders once and for all." Jace said, and Lia frowned.
"But Jace, we've already lost Ella… We can't lose anyone else."
"No, we can't, that's why we'll stick together. If we're going to solve this, we have to stay together this time."
Ana sighed. "I…I guess it would be smart to look around." Eli nodded, walking forward. "C'mon guys. Let's go find a murderer."
Griffin tried to steady his breathing as he followed, head pounding.
Eli carefully walked ahead of the group, Ana right behind him and the rest of the group behind her. He put a finger to his lips, motioning for everyone to be quiet as they searched.
Leo padded through the corridors, trembling. It felt as though the temperature had dropped.
Lia put her arms around her chest and started to shiver. "Why is it so cold in here?"
Eli shook his head. "Dunno. Sure makes this whole situation creepier." Ana saw Elliot talking in front of her, but wasn't sure what he said. It didn't seem too serious, so she didn't ask.
"No kidding." Leo's teeth started to chatter.
Ella blinked slowly, then opened her eyes. She was in a hallway at the Circus. She sat up and started hyperventilating. She couldn't be back here, not again. She looked down and gasped.
She was half transparent and floating. Then she heard familiar voices. She glided over to them.
(oooh…)
Ana rubbed her arms, trying to warm up. "It's freezing in here!"
*Her jaw dropped. The figures had strange, white aura around them, but were still completely recognizable.
"Ana? Eli? Leo?" she murmured, unsure whether they would hear her.
(Ahh sorry I have to go for now bye!)
