The sun had barely peeked out from under the horizon by the time Olive took her position beneath the Princess’s window. Her heart was heavy, dread and guilt settling on his shoulders like a thick blanket. She probably hated her now. She’d ruined everything.
This is all your fault.

@ShadeStar

Myrah’s awoje with a heavy heart. Instead of going straight to the window she moved to the vanity. She grabbed a brush and started to brush out her hair.

@blue_topaz

Olive could faintly hear the Prince moving around in her room, which only caused her heart to sink further. Myrah always came straight to the window…
She hates you. You’ve done it now.

Olive had to struggle to keep the neutral expression on her face.

@ShadeStar

Once Myrah had finished she skipped straight to the window and popped her head out. She smiled down at Noah, “Good morning!”

@blue_topaz

Olive jumped, twisting to look up at the window. Her heart stopped beating. It was Myrah. And she was smiling at her. What?

A hesitant smile spread across her face. “H-hey. Hi.”

@ShadeStar

Myrah beamed down at him. She was happy he still wanted to talk to her, even though her heart felt like it was being stabbed. She had spent the rest of yesterday thinking and had decided the gaurd really didn’t like her in that way, but that wasn’t going to stop her from trying, “How are you? Did you see the sunrise?”

@blue_topaz

It took a moment for Olive to remember how to properly function. “It’s just starting now, Your Highness.” Her mouth was numb, stumbling over each wordbas she gestured to the lightening sky. Streaks of peach and gold began to spread over the horizon as if someone had spilled a huge can of paint over the everything.

@ShadeStar

Myrah looked up to see the sunrise. She leaned back in obly to reappear moments later sitting on the ledge. She let out a soft sigh as the colors spread themselves across the sky. She was still smiling though it was much softer now.

@blue_topaz

Olive flushed pink, too preoccupied with staring up at Myrah to focus on the sunrise. Her face, dotted with constellations of freckles, was awash with gentle golden light, her ocean eyes glittered. She was beautiful.

@ShadeStar

Myrah watched the sunrise until the colors had melted away from the sky. She looked back down at Noah, "That was beautiful. Don't you think?"

@blue_topaz

Olive stumbled over her reply, her brain short-circuiting. “I- Yeah. Very.. calming,” she answered clumsily, though she hadn’t actually glanced up at the sky once.
She’s so beautiful and kind and smart… and I’m ugly, pissy, and stupid. She has never been more self-conscious of how silvery scars covered her unusually tanned skin, or how there was a tiny slice taken out of her bottom lip, or about her general appearance. She was ugly, and Myrah was stunning.

@ShadeStar

Myrah loved every little fault in Noah's appearance. Why strive to look perfect if you can look unique? Stunning, handsome, someone with a personality. She gave him a beaming smile, "It really is. Though probably not for you, you get to see it every day."

@blue_topaz

Olive attempted a nonchalant shrug. I see you every day and you still look gorgeous me. “It calms me in the mornings, after the…… chaos of the night.”

@blue_topaz

Shit. Olive blanched. She’d said too much. What do I say now??

Swallowing, she looked at the ground. “Sleep— doesn’t come easy.” A huge understatement

@ShadeStar

"None, thank God!" Myrah said looking up at the sky. Her feet kicked back and forth gently, heels hitting the outside wall, "I have the day all to myself."

@blue_topaz

Smiling a little, Olive relaxed against the wall and turned her head so that she could look at Myrah properly. "That's good. What are your plans?" She wished she could take her cumbersome helmet off, but knew what the consequences would be if she was caught.

@ShadeStar

Myrah looked down at Noah's covered face. She thought for a second before responding, "I think I shall paint. I've got plenty of inspiration at the moment, and I can just- Yes, I'm going to paint."

@blue_topaz

(by the way there's an opening for the face, the helmet goes around the top and back of the head without wrapping under the chin)

Olive's smile only grew, now slightly shyer than before. "You like to paint? What are you going to make today? The sunrise?" God, Myrah's eyes were so captivating, a sea of blue that glimmered with emotion. She just wanted to gaze into them all day….. No. Snap out of it. Freak.

@ShadeStar

(Okay, thanks for that! wasn't sure which style of helmet it was.)

Myrah nodded quickly. She had joy painted all across her face, and could stare into his eyes forever, "I love to paint! Probably a sunrise, and maybe something in the foreground. We'll see."

@blue_topaz

( np, my bad )

Olive bit back another flustered smile, looking shyly up at Myrah. "Could you– could you bring the canvas out here? So I can talk to you?"

@blue_topaz

Olive's eyes practically lit up when a blush began creeping across Myrah's face. She bit her lip bashfully, distracted by how adorable all of the Princess's freckles were. "Most of the day, yes. Is- Is that alright?"

@ShadeStar

Myrah had to focus in on his chin! Yeah his chin had nothing remotely attractive about it… Nope it was cute too. Could he stop being so good looking? She nodded again trying to reign in her blush, "P-Perfect! It's perfect!"

@blue_topaz

Myrah was a blushing, stuttering mess, and Olive loved it. A teasing glimmer entered her eyes, but she quickly snuffed it out, lest she overstepped a boundary. She was probably misinterpreting things anyways.. and besides, it would be unfair to lead the Princess on. She didn't know the truth about Olive, and she couldn't exactly tell her either.

@ShadeStar

She whipped her feet back inside her room, and looked back to Noah, "I'll be right back!" She moved away from the window to get dressed, something simple. A pastel violet dress and grey pants hidden underneath. She summoned one of the maids to get her canvas and paints from the studio as she went to put on a powder base. Conceal the blush. She went back to the window and let her feet hang off the ledge. She could probably jump down and be fine right?
