Olive noticed with slight disappointment that all of Myrah's freckles were now covered by a layer of makeup. She grinned, though, slipping off her gauntlet and holding her arms out. "Jump," she called, "I'll catch you."

@blue_topaz

Olive caught Myrah with ease, letting out a soft grunt and grinning up at her. The Princess's face was barely a few inches from hers, and her arms were on Olive's shoulders, and she was literally bundled up in her embrace. She couldn't force herself to put the beautiful girl down.

@ShadeStar

Myrah felt her face get all blushy again due to their close vicinity. She really didn't want to let go, or have him let her go. This was a well thought out decision on her part.

@blue_topaz

Olive could see a faint blush from beneath the makeup, which brought a light dusting of pink to her cheeks. Her eyes travelled slowly down Myrah's soft, kind featured before lingering on her pink lips for a fraction of a second. Then, the reality of the situation came crashing down on her.

You've got to put her down. It was hard, but eventually she managed.

@ShadeStar

Myrah tried to hide her disappointment of being put down on the ground. She watched as one of the maids brought her supplies out and Myrah took them from her. She began to set up, trying to avoid Noah's eyes. What was she thinking that would work?

@blue_topaz

Olive sat down on the ground, keeping her eyes firmly trained on the grass. What had she been thinking?? This was the Princess for god's sake, and she was an illegal runaway knight and a freak who couldn't decide on one gender. Not to mention a liar. This was never going to happen.

@ShadeStar

Myrah grabbed one of the brushes and dipped it into a peachy pink color. She slowly started painting the entire canvas that sole color. Her eyes kept glancing over at Noah, and her focus was all over the place.

@blue_topaz

Olive watched her closely as she painted, following every stroke of the brush and every tilt of her head. Her heart surged every time Myrah glanced towards her, cheeks heating up, but she just stayed where she was, wishing she could reach out to brush the Princess's cheek with her hand.

@ShadeStar

Myrah couldn't stop looking at Noah, despite now having to go on to the harder gradient part. She grabbed a second brush and dipped it into a light orange color. She began to go from the horizon line and worked outwards.

@blue_topaz

Olive offered the Princess a shy smile, lifting a hand to her face and chewing anxiously on her thumbnail. God, she looked so pretty with her nose all scrunched up in concentration….
STOP. You can't keep doing this. You cannot.

@ShadeStar

Myrah smiled back at Noah. She couldn't figure out why he was so nervous, there wasn't anyone else around them. Just the princess painting, and a guard doing whatever he was doing. She bit her lip slightly before saying, "I'm sorry about yesterday."

@blue_topaz

Olive's smile faltered, her eyes dropping down to the grass. "Oh. What- What do you have to be sorry about? It's not like you did anything wrong," she said, but her voice was oddly wuiet. Inhaling, she forced her lips to curve back up into a smile. "It's fine."

@ShadeStar

(…Wuiet…)

Myrah stopped painting and looked over to Noah. She had a solemn look on her, "I pushed too far and should've stepped off earlier. That is what I apologized for. So I say once again sorry."

@blue_topaz

( ack I'm sorry, I really will try my best to avoid typos

sorryyyy

*quiet)

Olive relaxed her shoulders, shaking her head a little with a soft sigh. "It's fine, it's not your fault. If anything, it was me who was too pushy with you." She had an appallingly strong urge to take off her helmet, let her hair down, and announce that she was a girl– sort of. She stopped herself just as the tips of her fingers skimmed the bottom of her helmet, wondering how on earth she could be so stupid.

@ShadeStar

(It's fine! I honestly find most of them hilarious. So if I point them out that's why.)

"You weren't honestly. I would be a lot more open with people, if I wasn't going to lose my head for it," Myrah let out a dry laugh. She hated always having to dance around the subject, especially after the incident with that one maid. Not her finest moment.

@blue_topaz

(lol okay)
(lmao 'that incident with that one maid')

Olive snorted. "I feel you there…" she muttered, before realizing her slip-up and quickly moving on. Shit. Shit shit shit. Panicking, she opened her mouth to blurt out a question. "If you don't mind me asking, how many people know?"

@ShadeStar

(She was full on stalker mode XD)

"Just you?" Myrah's voice cracked when she spoke. It was the truth, and did Noah make a comment before hand? Maybe he really was into guys.

@blue_topaz

(l m a o)

Olive glanced upwards when the Princess's voice broke, forehead creased with worry lines. "Are you alright, Myrah? And– I feel honoured that you told me. Thank you." Her palms began to sweat. Had Myrah heard her muttered comment?

@ShadeStar

"I'm fine!" Myrah turned back to her canvas. She could feel the heat in her cheeks as she continued painting, "It happens sometimes." Espicially around you.

@blue_topaz

Olive nodded, not wanting to prod. She glued her lips together, afraid that if she opened them the whole truth would spill out. A strand of dark hair slipped from her bun and out from under the helmet, and she wrapped it around her finger, humming absently.

@ShadeStar

Myrah went back to painting in silence. She had moved on to a shade of lilac in sunrise. Her nose was scrunched up in concentration and her mouth in a thin line.

@blue_topaz

Olive couldn't stop grinning like an idiot– Myrah looked so adorable with her nose all scrunched up and her lips pursed in concentration, there was no possible way she could stare at anything else when the Princess was there with her freckles and her curly hair and her soft, round lips…..

@ShadeStar

Myrah glanced back at Noah ever so often, but was focused in on her painting. She had almost finished with the background ready to move onto the silhouettes.

@blue_topaz

Olive swallowed, tearing her eyes away and fixing the, to her lap. "What else are you going to add? To the painting, I mean?" she managed, inhaling deeply.

@ShadeStar

"A surprise," Myrah shrugged. She put her brush in the jar of dirty water, "To both you and me. I have a general idea of what I want, just not how to do it."

@blue_topaz

Olive laughed lightly, barely refraining from reaching forward to brush a strand of hair out of Myrah's face. "Where did you learn how to paint? It looks amazing so far."

@ShadeStar

If Myrah didn't have make up on right now her face would be a tomato. Easily. Complements, particularly about her painting, made her light up. Coming from Noah seemed to amplify the effect. She laughed nervously, "I had a teacher. Most of it was myself though."

@blue_topaz

Was it her imagination or was there a nervous note in Myrah's face, not to mention the faintest tinge of pink peeking out from below her makeup? Olive's stupid, weak heart sped up. Resisting the urge to slap herself across the face, she glanced around, took a chance, and slipped her helmet off, fully revealing a slightly flushed face and a messy bun of dark hair. "It looks beautiful."
As do you.

@ShadeStar

The messy bun was, Myrah was dead. Somehow her face was redder, she didn't know how. How in the world did he look so hot with such a horrible bun? Maybe it was the bun. She stuttered out mouth agape, "T-thanks. Y-you t-too."
