“Do it,” Eve challenged, a faint blush rising to her cheeks, “Maybe I’ll pull you under with me.”

Riley smirked, pushing her up out of the water and off of his back, turning halfway. He gently pulled her back down and pushed her under the water, jumping back a moment later.

Eve laughed and stayed under the water, only to grab onto Riley’s ankles. She pulled with all her might and pulled him into the water with her.

Riley felt himself slip under, barely closing his mouth. As soon as he resurfaced he pursed his lips, then laughed. He ran his now wet hair back on his head.

Eve burst out laughing, clutching her stomach as she did so, “That was great!”

(I apologize for the wait! I have not been as active as I would like to be….)

Riley rolled his eyes. "Oh shut up." He chuckled.

(It’s fine :) I’ve been busy so it’s alright)

Eve shook her head, still laughing, “Make me fireboy.”

"Maybe I will." He smirked, slowly stepping towards her.

“Maybe you won’t.” She challenged.

"Wanna bet?" He chuckled, standing right in front of her. He stared down at her with a sly grin.

“Not really, no.” She replied, swallowing a small lump in her throat.

"Alright then." He stepped back. "I have my ways~"

“Now I’m curious. What are these… ways?” Eve smiled and took a step towards him.

"Mmm~ My ways. Mine to know until I use em~" Riley chuckled, crossing his arms.

Eve pouted, “Aww…. no fair.”

"Life's no fair." He reached out, patting her head.

Eve batted his hand away, “Yeah yeah. I know it’s not fair but I’m curious!”

Riley shrugged. "Annddd?"

“Pleeeease tell me what it is.” She pleaded.

"Give me a good reason why I should~"

“Because… we’re friends, right? And if not then I won’t talk to you.”

"Then I would have made you quiet, so that's a tactic." He chuckled, holding up one finger.

Eve pouted, “You’re no fair.”

Riley patted her head. "Never have been~"

“Stop patting my head!” Eve grabbed his wrist.

"Make me." Riley grinned.

“I’ll cut your hands off if it comes to it.”

"Aww, you wouldn't." Riley faked a gasp.

“Try me pretty boy.” Eve said, letting go.

Riley chuckled, pulling has hand back. "Nah, you have a watery fire in ya."
