Averill had turned back to face the teacher when he started talking. The rest of the period was fine, but he barely learned anything. He collected his homework and went to the next periods. They were equally uneventful. Then came lunch, where he waited at a table for any of his friends to show up.

Class had yet to start and Reese was already drawing on her arm. A series of black swirls and smoke-like doodles covered the inside of her forearm. She stopped when she heard Vanessa gasp. She was looking at her phone, and then to the boy who had turned to them.

"Reese, don't you know who he is?" Vanessa beamed as she shoved her phone in Reese's face. "Wha-" she paused. It was the boy in front of them. Vanessa could hardly contain her excitement. "It's him! Ohmygosh, it's him!" She pointed to her phone and then to the boy. Reese gave the boy a nervous smile. Vanessa was making an extreme fool of herself.

"Vanessa calm down…" Reese whispered to her friend, who wasn't listening in the slightest. She pointed to the boy. "He's Averill! From that new band!"

Lovino starts to play on his phone texting his brother.
Lovi: how's the new school pipsqueak
Fel: it's good but the class is starting I've gtg love you!
Lovino chuckles to himself and mumbles 'love you too'
Lovi: Love you too idiot

Ali stared down at the sheet of notes. "Curse their brains," she mumbled. They were smart people, she had to give that to them— she'd been working on decoding their code for weeks now. She'd never been very good with maths either.
She groaned and stood, needing to stretch her legs. She wiped the exhaustion from her face and sauntered into the room. "Goooood afternoon, roomies!"

"No." "She is being a pest though." "Stop it. She didn't know probably." Nykidia chided Night. "Oh she knows! She just does that to annoy me!"

Xander nodded. He still hadn’t gotten used the Nykidia and Night situation but shook his head and tried to focus on something else. “She is working hard though,” he said just as she entered the room.

Xander rolled his eyes at Ali yet surpressed a smile. He turned to Nykidia. “I suddenly have a weird craving for both of those, if you make pancakes I’d order the pizza and everyone can have a bit.” He thought to himself, Wow, we’re supposed to be being villains but we’re talking about food.

Nykidia groaned. "You know I hate meat lovers so please don't get that." Nykidia said as she started making the batter. She threw some blueberries and put a full bag of mini chocolate chips in.

Ali gasped and slunk up behind Nykydia. "How could you ever hate me, Nykydia? We're besties," she said sweetly, wrapping her arms from behind around Nykydia in a hug.

"We are not going to attack a school." Nykidia said matter o factually as she flipped a pancake. "There are kids there. No matter if there are a few kids that might know the identity of insert superhero name here. We are not attacking a school."

"I shall take that as a compliment," Ali told Nykydia lightly. She circled around her and went for the dish of pancakes, inhaling the fresh smell. "It's hard to feel evil when all you want is to eat a nice sugary pancake."
She picked at the top one, stealing crumbs off of it.

Nykidia and Night laughed at this. "True. How do you think the city would react if they found out that the top villains were living off of pizza and pancakes?"

Ali swooned dramatically. "They'd all fall in love with us. The only thing keeping them away_" She straightened. "Is the fact they think we're cruel to the core."
