"Well Lady Gaga isn't a villain. She's a pop star." Nykidia said getting out syrup and whipped cream.

Xander clicked his phone off. “Pizza has officially been ordered.” He sauntered over to the pancakes and scoffed at the mention of Lady Gaga.

Ali caught Xander's scoff. She straightened and set a sharp bolt of electricity to his chest. "Do not scoff. That woman is a miracle."

Nykidia rolled her eyes. "You know she wore dress of raw meat out on stage for a performance. Who does that?" Nykidia commented.

Averill had turned back to face the teacher when he started talking. The rest of the period was fine, but he barely learned anything. He collected his homework and went to the next periods. They were equally uneventful. Then came lunch, where he waited at a table for any of his friends to show up.

English and the rest of his classes were uneventful for the most part, aside from one kid spilling a bunch of candy bars on the floor during third period while trying to sell them. The classes he actually liked were after lunch. When lunch did come around he nearly forgot the group was going to meet up until he saw Averill at a table looking around. Ben slid into a seat across from him, taking his bag off and setting it down. “What’s up? Know anything about who might commission us next?” He asked.

"I heard that Lacuna was thinking of it. I don't know how people know what she's thinking, but that's what's been going around." Averill didn't ever bring lunch to school, so he sat at the table waiting for the lunch line to shorten.

“Lacuna?” Ben replied. He pulled out a candy bar, having bought one from the third period kid, and unwrapped it. He brought some money for a school lunch, but he had some time to spare and wanted to see if anyone else showed up. “Has anyone mentioned what kind of music she might like? We should probably practice whatever they’re saying.” He noted, taking a bite of his bar.

Lovino pops up out of nowhere ”hay waz up?” he asks his bass was slung around his shoulder and he looked like he ran a mile which he has to get his bass.

"That's all I've heard. We should probably wait for her to say something. I follow her on twitter, lemme see." He pulled out his phone and clicked to Lacuna's profile. Well, really, it wasn't Lacuna's, it was an association of superheroes that had one twitter they shared to spread info. He saw the newest tweet read: Lacuna has been searching to contact the band known for making superhero's theme songs! Look forward to it, everyone! Averill showed the tweet to Ben. "So, what do you think?"

Lovino shakes his head not being noticed again ”HELLO!” he says louder taping his foot ”I've got to go somewhere ill see you guys soon.” he says

Ben flinched as Lovino came out of the blue and shouted. He was never going to get used to his random appearances. “Hi. Averill was showing a tweet from the heroes.” As he talked he looked at the screen, his eyes scanning the text quickly before looking up. “Seems good. What do you think?”

"When will the pizza be here?" Nykidia said as she ate a pancake.

Lovino nods ”yep seems good now I've got to go somewhere cough meet up with my boyfriend cough so I'll see you later.” he says.

Ben looked at Lovino as he walked off. “That was a quick visit.” He said before shrugging, “At least he showed up.” He ate some more of his candy bar. Glancing to see how short the line was for some actual food. It may not be the best, but school food sounded good when you’re tired and have only had toast. “Any ideas what Lacuna might want or will we have to wait until she tells us?”

"No clue what she wants. It could be anything. She's probably gonna track us down and just show up here sometime today or in the next few days," Averil watched the lunch line as well.

Reese followed behind her friends to a table in the lunch room. She had to admit, she wasn't very hungry at the time, so she sat while Tay and her boyfriend went to get lunch. She hadn't realized she and Vanessa had sat at the table with that Averill boy at it. Well, him and another boy. Vanessa practically vibrated in her seat, but Reese placed a firm hand on her shoulder. "Calm…" she whispered to her. And the she heard it.

"Any ideas what Lacuna might want or will we have to wait until she tells us?"

The words were loud and clear in her ears and Reese couldn't help but smile. They had another 'super-zero' to entertain, huh? She sipped her water and listened closely, pretending to be listening to Vanessa as she ranted.

“Even if she’s a part of the heroes…. I don’t like how they can just find us and show up whenever.” He said, glancing at the girls that sat down. He didn’t think anything of it, considering it was a cafeteria, but one of them seemed quite chatty. Hopefully that didn’t get annoying. He grabbed his satchel, getting his cash to make sure he brought enough. Otherwise he might have to go home and eat something before practice.

"Well, they do work with the government. They can just get location that way. Or they can ask another hero. Many people know our first names as well." Averill glanced at the girls who had just sat down. "But you're right, it does seem quite easy for them to find us."

“They just give our practice location away?” He said, not looking up as he searched his bag. One dollar short. He just needed to find the quarters he grabbed. “I guess so long as they don’t show up at school or at one of our houses it’s not that bad. Because if my brother finds out where my extra cash is coming from he’ll try to join, and he doesn’t even know about making music.” The idea didn’t really appeal to him. If his brother could find something that he thought he could slack off in he’d take it, and act like he was the leader just because he’s older. He didn’t know what Aayon would do if he couldn’t stay at home while finding a job.

Reese looked over as one of the boys began to rifle through his bag. She watched him pull out a few dollar bills and continue his search. Her eyes counted a bill short of lunch money.

Opportunity at it's finest… Reese thought as she pulled the zipper of her book-bag open and reached into a small pocket for a roll of money she kept on her at all times. She slipped a dollar from it and tapped the boy's shoulder. "Here. Looks like you might need it." she said, offering him the dollar bill with a smile. This bold action caught Vanessa attention and she smiled as well.

Averill looked at the girl offering Ben money and raised an eyebrow. "Hey, you're in my Math class, right?" He thought that he recognized her as the person he thought was trying to talk to him that morning.

Ben looked with uncertainty at the smiling girl. She seemed nice. He just didn’t like taking stuff from others, especially since he knew it was just because he was forgetful of how much money he kept on him. Yet bad luck and bad habits had him considering it, since he’d skipped diner last night to fix the car. Why do I do this to myself? “You know Ave?” He asked, trying to think of where he put his quarters. The only conclusion he came to was that he didn’t grab them like he thought, and reluctantly took the dollar being held out to him. “I’ll pay you back. You shouldn’t have to help because I’m forgetful.”

Ali sat down with her own plate of food. "Xander, you didn't answer me. Are you any good at Maths?"

Reese nodded to Averill. "Yes I am." She then turned her gaze to Ben. "Don't worry about it." she assured him. "I mean, if you forgot to bring it for yourself, what makes you think you'll remember to bring it for me?" She shrugged. "Besides, anything for celebrities." she winked with a small laugh.

Her eyes ran over each of them, committing everything she saw to memory. "I'm Reese." she offered Ben her hand, then Averil. And she then turned to Vanessa. "This is my friend, Vanessa-"

"I am such a huge fan of you music!" She squealed.

Lovino runs back in with his boyfriend in tow "stop running so fast huff" his boyfriend says. Lovino runs to the table and slams his hands down Antonio coming up behind him and pants out a 'sorry'.
"guys guess what!" he says looking at all of them "oh and whos the new girl?" he questions.

Ben hoped his face wasn’t flushed, he wasn’t used to the fact the band had fans. He’d never be used to some thinking they’re celebrities. He looked at Lovino as the table shook from the slam, glancing at Antonio who only gave a quick sorry. He introduced the girls, pointing to each as he spoke. “Reese and Vanessa. They like our music.” Ben glanced at the others before giving his attention back to Lovino. “Anyways, what’s got you all excited?”

Lovino nods at the girls "well we need a place to practice right!" Lovino shook from excitement. Antonio sighs and waves his hand at the girls.
"Hi ladies," he says looking at Ben, "Lovino thinks he has found a place for you guys." he says wraping is hands around Lovinos waist and hugging him from behind "and clam down there not going anywhere love" Lovino nods and faces back to Ben.
