Cyprus shot the pixie a look. Oil had started to leak from his nose. "I know. And I. Don't. Care." He put out his hand, and the pixie shot up from the ground as if being pulled by an invisible string
Cyprus shot the pixie a look. Oil had started to leak from his nose. "I know. And I. Don't. Care." He put out his hand, and the pixie shot up from the ground as if being pulled by an invisible string
"Hey, that tickles!" She said, laughing. Suddenly, a giant form of a winged horse appeared in her place, and charged at Cyprus.
He took an uncaring step to the side as the horse charged past. "Cute. Really. I didn't spend a couple thousand years escaping purgatory just to watch one tiny pixie try to step on my toes."
Addison was really mad now.
"You won't escape, Cyprus." Suddenly, her voice sounded like pure music, and joy, she was a glowing figure, golden and pure, streaks of light shot behind her, trapping Cyprus/Jay. "Let the child go. I will be merciful."
“And it’s back to everyone not hearing me.” Lucille grumbled, “Noted: Keep out of the tunnels.” Lucille limped toward Addison, and stayed by her side.
Cyprus laughed again. "Oh my gods, are you serious?" He snapped his finger, and the lights immediately died. He walked towards her. "Listen here, you overgrown wasp. This child made a pact. Therefore, I can do whatever I please."
"You will not succeed. You will be destroyed."
Cyprus laughed again. "Succeed? The only thing I'm trying to 'succeed' in doing is keeping my sorry host alive! Otherwise, I've got a cushy little palace inside this imbecile's head that I quite frankly don't care to leave."
Addison silently rapped her arms around her friend protectively.
Lucille likes comfort.
Cyprus groaned. "Gods, I can't believe I was ever human. You all are such idiots." Suddenly he started coughing up oil. He stared down at his newly stained sleeve. "Well, looks like my time's up for now. Adieu!" He gave a small wave and a final grin before Jay's body collapsed to the ground
Lucille limped over to Jay, “Man, I’m seriosuly going to get fired.” She checked his pulse, “Well he’s alive.”
Jay's lights started to frantically flash
“And that, that’s not good.” Lucille pointed out, “I studied some medicine, but not tech… wait I studied that… I didn’t study engineering.”
Jay bolted upright, shuddering and coughing up oil
“And he’s alive.” Lucille noted, “You alright?”
Addison took a shaky breath. Worrying about Jay was killing her. "J-Jay?"
(sorry for disappearing, I only just woke up)
(sorry for vanishing too) Jay curled up in a ball on his side, still coughing
Jasmine looks away from Jay, although she flinches slightly at every cough. She looks around at the forest. It seems to be telling her something.
"J-Jay?" Addison repeated softly. "Are you–"
"It-It hurts," he responded between coughs
Jasmine walks over to the closest tree. When she places her palm on the tree, she can hear whispering, but can't make out the words.
Addison snapped herself out of her stupor and knelt down beside him. "Anything I can do to help?" She asked softly.
"Water'd be-Water would be awesome."
Addison created a sphere of water. "You sure you can drink it?"
"Ya got a cup?" Jay broke off into another fit of coughing
Addison pulled an empty flask from her belt and dumped the water in it, then handed it to Jay, keeping a hand on his side.
He took it from her and started chugging it. He was done with it in a few seconds. "Y-Ya got any more?"
