"Okay." Levi shrugged and decided to let that conversation die. He was mostly relieved that he wouldn't have to go to the grocery store until tomorrow because by tomorrow he could come up with an excuse to stay home. He had time to prepare himself.

Jax began to cook the ramen with a disgusted look on his face. "Where did you even get this much ramen anyhow?" He asked, pouring the ramen into a bowl.

Deleted user

(Sorry I haven't been on the internet's been freaking out and I haven't had the time to reply.)

Levi shrugged. Ever since the great grocery store freakout of last month, he'd been avoiding big stores. This cut out like… 80% of stores and he had been buying most of his food from the convenience store. Which definitely wasn't healthy but neither was subjecting himself to freakouts everytime he left the house.

"Very descriptive," Jax said dryly, handing the ramen filled bowl to Levi. "So, you were a soldier? I suppose that is giving you paranoia about going into large stores, them reminding you of warzones?" Jax was not a people person, he was however a reader of people.

How did Jax know that? Levi hated having him around enough as it was- Jax was a useless waste of money because Levi did know how to take care of himself despite what Flora and Sequoia might think- but now he was uncovering things that Levi was too ashamed of to talk about with close friends. Things that made him recoil because he should be stronger damn it. He had served in the military and he had killed people but he couldn't walk through a grocery store? It was pathetic. And there was no way he was talking about it with a stranger. "That's none of your business."

"I know, but if you were wondering how I knew that. My sisters were in the military, only one came back and she does the same thing. Also, take the fucking bowl of ramen." Jax says, now basically shoving the bowl into Levi's hands.

Levi took the bowl with a frown, grabbing some forks from a nearby drawer and tossing one in Jax's general direction. He sat down at the counter and began eating. At least he knew why Jax had brought up his issues. "Sorry about your sister."

Deleted user

"It's fine, it was a long time ago." He said, trying to catch the fork and ending up failing miserably. "Shit." He muttered as he grabbed the fork off the floor.

Levi snorted, eating his ramen a little more vigorously. It might've been the tiniest bit rude to laugh after Jax had shared about his sister, but Levi wasn't inclined to be nice to him.

Deleted user

"Oh piss off." Jax hissed in Levi's direction and began to wash off his fork, sticking out his tongue at Levi. "I have so many more nicknames to come up with for you.~"

Deleted user

"This is my house, idiot. I can do what I want." Levi continued to dig into his food, finishing up a few minutes later. He dropped his bowl and fork in the sink and began plotting his escape from the grocery store tomorrow.

Deleted user

"Meh, I just have to wash these suckers than I get to go home and pretend you don't exist for a whole night." He said, doing what can only be described as sarcastic jazz hands…

Deleted user

"Oh boy." Levi hopped off the stool he'd been eating at and shambled around the room for a while. "How much do I pay you? Or have my friends covered the bill?" They better have covered the bill or Levi was going to murder them.

Deleted user

"Your friendos did." He said, raising his eyebrows and grabbing his bag from the floor after he shoved the dishes in the washer (Gently.) "Bye nerd." He said, walking out the door.

Levi sighed in relief, plodding into his bedroom without even giving Jax a goodbye. He pulled out his drawing pad and a few colored pencils and began doodling. It was all he did in this house, but he enjoyed it well enough. Hopefully, Jax would… forget to come or get held up tomorrow and not be able to come.

Jax walked up to the door and knocked, setting his hands on his bag which held some extra flour and salt that he had found in his pantry. "Don't even try getting out of shopping."

Deleted user

Levi groaned from his bed when he heard someone speaking to the door. The nightmares had been particularly bad tonight and he'd only gotten 2 hours of sleep all night. He was still tangled up in the blankets as he opened the door. Fuck. Jax. Shopping. Everything came back to him in a blur of anger and annoyance. "Huh?"

Deleted user

"We're going shopping for food because your pantry is a mess." Jax said, taking in the sight of the tired soldier wrapped in blankets. "Also, you get to pay. Your friends said so."

Deleted user

Levi groaned, resting his head against the doorframe in a tired attempt to stave off a headache. Of course, they couldn't pay for it. He loved them, but they were completely unreliable when it came to money. Flora poured all her money into the house, and Sequoia's income was spotty at best. "How much do I owe you?"

Deleted user

"Whatever the hell we buy, you pay for." He said, handing Levi the bag. "I have some basic ingredients that you don't have to pay for," Jax said as he still stood in the doorway.

Deleted user

Levi blinked, staring down at the bag in sleepy confusion. What the heck was this? Why was Jax handing him a bag of random stuff? What was he supposed to do with this? Oh yeah. Ingredients. That went in the… kitchen. "We need to shop conservatively. I don't have lot of… disposable income."

Deleted user

"Understandable, this is just getting some veggies and some other necessities. Nothing major and nothing too expensive." Jax said, having no clue what else to do…

Deleted user

"You can come in." Levi dropped the bag onto the counter and looked down at himself, trying to figure out if sweatpants and a too big shirt were appropriate to wear outside his house. Probably not. Maybe he could take a break to get dressed and lock himself in a bathroom so he didn't need to go shopping.
