Well, my youth group (ages 14-19) had a discussion about suicide last week, a counselor lady came in and talked to us about it. She said that if your concerned, even in the slightest, you should go to an adult/counselor and tell them. And if you’re really concerned, you might want to ask them outright, “Do you want to die?” She said that most of the time you can tell if they’re lying, since it’s a pretty sudden, out of the blue question I guess.
I, personally, am not sure I feel about the outright question, but I definitely agree that it’s probably best to tell a counselor or any other adult you trust.
