Mrs Baker gave them a warm smile, "You're very welcome."
"Yeah, thanks for everything." Farron added.

Azura then made her way towards the door, and hesitated a bit for him to follow. She could tell by his face that that conversation had opened fresh wounds, and it looked like it was too much for him to handle.
poor Farron, she thought.
Farron looked towards the ground on thought the entire way back towards the inn. He still
couldn’t half believe that his own mother might still be alive. It was a lot to take in, and didn’t like it was entirely real and it showed on his face, “Sorry I’m not talking much,” He muttered to get rid of the silence.
"It's no problem," she said. She was actually a bit annoyed with him for saying that. Who in their right mind would be talkative after what had just happened? She patted his back and clung to is arm, but they continued to walk in silence. Azura was still trying to decipher the note, and she would look back at it every once in a while.
Farron sighed through his nose, turning his gaze to the sunset on the horizon. He didn't realise how late it was, not after everything that had happened. The oranges and yellows and light pinks distracted him from the world. He looked down at Azura and admired her for a few moments before turning his head away.
Azura held her arm out to stop him for a brief minute.
"When do you want to begin the search for your mother?"
Farron opened his mouth for a moment then closed it, thinking for a few moments, “I-“ He swallowed, “I don’t know…” He whispered.
"We can go whenever you're ready. No rush, because this must be hard for you. But Farron," Azura grabbed his face in her hands. "Whatever you do, don't try to do this alone?" she kissed his cheek.
"Promise?"
Farron swallowed again for he nodded, “Promise.”
Satisfied with her answer, she grabbed his arm and began pulling him down the street again.
Farron sighed through his nose, trying to fight back the nausea and the heache that was beginning to form.
"Hey," she said to him, seeing that he wasn't in the best mood. "Do you want to just go back to the inn? I'll keep looking around town and you can take a nap." Actually, she was planning on doing a little sleuthing while he went away.
"I don't- What if-" He was going into protective mode and had to fight to protest that he didn't like the fact that she was going to be along but sighed, "Yeah. Sure, okay."
"Awesome. I'll see you in a few hours," she said. She hugged him, then turned and walked away.
"Okay. Now, back to that Mrs. Baker." She went all the way back to Mrs. Baker, planning on asking a few questions. Something didn't seem right about her visit.
Farron watched her go before turning back into the tavern. He headed straight for their room and barely made it before he fell asleep.
She knocked on the door, and Mrs.Baker seemed surprised to see her when she returned.
"Hello again," Azura said. "Seems to me you might be able to help us a bit more."
"I don't know about that, dear," Mrs. Baker said. "But I'll certainly try." She ushered Azura in.
"You knew just what we needed to know," Azura said. "Why?"
Mrs Baker frowned a little, "A lucky guess I suppose."
Really," Azura said. She sighed, but continued questioning.
"what about when you looked uncomfortable when I suggested that someone could have made Farron's mother run off?"
The old woman shrugged, "I would be the same in any situation. She never told me what happened, was too scared that she was going to be 'found'"
"But you said you knew she had a son. If that was the case, then don't you think her son would be devastated with his mother gone? If your mother left you, wouldn't you want her to be found?" Azura was frustrated.
"The only thing that Farron asked for was something he couldn't have. His mother. He never asked for anything else. He's a good person, and he cares so much about other people. Can you please, not even for me, but for Farron, tell me everything you know? He loves his mother, and he misses her, terribly."
"You are meddling in things that you do not understand. I don't even understand. Andra left to protect the son she loved most even though she knew it would break him. I know little to nothing about her location or her plans, but what I can tell you is that change is coming. Find her. She will explain everything." Mrs Baker said firmly.
Azura thanked Mrs. Baker and walked out. She still had the feeling that Mrs. Baker wasn't telling her everything, but she decided to drop it and go back to the inn to check on Farron.
Farron has been drifting in and out of sleep while Azura had been gone. When she got back, he wipped away his tears yet it was obvious he’d been crying.
“Hey, Farron,” Azura sighed. She plopped down next to him, and she noticed his eyes were a bit watery and red.
“Have you been crying?”
“Wh-What? No, of course not.” Farron mumbled, rubbing at his eyes.
“You know,” she flopped back onto the pillow, “you don’t have to fake it.”
“I’m not faking anything.” Farron said, glancing over his shoulder at her.
