So I actually had an idea for once, here it is:

A soldier has just returned home from their tour of duty and is suffering from some pretty severe issues. Their friends get pretty worried about them and hire some in-home help to look after them and keep them from hurting themselves. This in-home help and the soldier start off at complete odds. The soldier hates the help and sees them as a sign of weakness, treating them terribly as a result. Eventually, the help and the soldier begin to bond until the soldier no longer needs the help around and they part ways.

I have a character in mind for either the soldier or the in-home help, so you can play whichever you want. andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules apply and replies longer than one sentence are SOOOOOO appreciated (as is good grammar)

(Well when I was replying there was no one there but by the time the post loaded someone was already there… ;-;)

The in-home person/ thing?
I really want to use a sassy character… Maybe I'll use a chef.

Deleted user

Cool! By in-home help, I was thinking more of a guardian to watch the soldier and make sure they take care of themselves but a chef could work.

Deleted user

Oh, no.
I just have a chef character and I feel he would just make food and force the soldier to eat food.

Deleted user

Okay, that seems perfect! Do you want to exchange character sheets or keep it a surprise?

Sometimes it was hard for Levi to be grateful for his friends. He loved Flora and Sequoia with all his heart, but right now he was considering the best way to murder them. They had hired some kind of glorified babysitter to watch over him. Some 'live in chef' whose name was Jax who would be watching his every move and probably reporting back to them.

Sure, he might not be the best at taking care of himself now. And sure, he might forget to eat or sleep or go outside sometimes. That didn't mean he needed some random stranger in his house.

Jax was pissed, he was hired as a chef and the people who hired him failed to mention that it was for a salty soldier. This is why I hate my life. He thought, trudging up the driveway and ringing the doorbell. He hoped the dude would make this as painless as possible, but he was probably very, very wrong.

Levi groaned and dragged his feet as he approached the door. While it wasn't guaranteed it was the chef, he knew it probably would be. And he was going to make this as painful as possible for everyone involved. He slammed the door open and took in the guy in front of him. Definitely the chef. "Are you Jax?"

"Yes. And by that greeting, I presume you are Levi Animus." He said, taking in the annoyed look on the man's face. Yup, this is going to be miserable. For both me and you. Very, very miserable He thought.

Sorry for the short reply//

"I wish I weren't." Levi stepped away from the door and stomped off to the kitchen where a fast cooling cup of coffee sat on the counter. Most of his house was still clean because most of it hadn't been used at all, but his kitchen wasn't one of those depressingly untouched spaces. His kitchen currently had a sink full of dirty dishes, a couple of t-shirts laying across the pan rack, and a few empty beer bottles laying around. He hadn't had enough time to clean up.

(As long as it's 2 sentences or more, you're fine)

Jax sighed and made his way into the house. "Look, we can stay far away from each other. My job is to cook you food." He says, picking up some bottles and throwing them into the recycling bin.

"I don't need a cook," Levi answered, taking a sip of his coffee. Of all the people Sequoia and FLora could hire, they decided a cook would be the best option. He knew how to cook. He'd survived on his own for the last two months, hadn't he?
