"Ok, ok, ok. Let me get this straight. This WHOLE planet has given everyone strange things. I have 'cotton candy hair', galaxy eyes, landed on AIR, made that tree APPEAR, and went from here to there in TWO seconds and it was the same on the way back."
(are the people on the planet going to speak English? because Jasmine has omniliguilism so it wouldn't matter as she would be able to understand them)
"Yeah. Maybe it's a good thing though. Maybe it'll help us find the satellite?"
(They're still speaking English, but Addison has writing on herself that she can understand, even though she's never seen the language before.)
Aspen laughed again. “ you look you’re from the circus. All of ou. It’s great”
“Am I literally the only one with normal skin. Aw man, now I feel left out.” Lucille pouted.
"We might look like we're from the circus, but at least we get weird powers and stuff." Jay absently fiddled with the strap for his rifle while he talked
"Yeah," Jasmine sprints around them all (like Flash does). "I could get used to this."
“I look the same. Except for my hair, but it just had some highlights. I feel so left outtttt.” Lucille whined.
"Well, maybe you got powers too. I didn't even notice anything happened until I tried to fall off the ship and ended up teleporting instead."
"Wait, I hear a stream," Jasmine says, and zooms off. She's soon out of sight.
"Um, okay." Jay frowned at a nearby tree. "Wait…That tree looks like it has the same type of writing on it that Addison has." He teleported over to it. The writing seemed to outline the shape of a door
“I thought we discussed to not touch wild life in case we get contaminated…” Lucille groaned, her team was breaking about a dozen safety precautions. The boss is going to have my head if she hears about this.
Jasmine zooms back 15 seconds later. "Guys. There's a stream 5 miles from here. There's a cave there. It has the same writing that's on Addison's face. Sorry if that sounds rude."
Addison walked over to it. "Hmmmmmmmmmmmm Do you know what it says?" She asked, wondering if he could read it too.
"I can read it. Don't know how, but somehow I can read it."
"Well, what does it say? I feel like I can kinda tell what it says, but I can't really read it."
"I don't trust myself to say it. It's not that I don't want to, but I don't understand why I can read it. Addison?"
(i don't know. i only know what's written on the cave, not the tree)
"Huh. I feel like I recognize the writing from my home. We had this big, freaky pine forest that held a sort of secret willow forest inside it. There was writing everywhere that looked a lot like this, but I never figured out what it said."
(oh do you want me to come up with something for the tree?)
(ok) Jay squinted at the tree. "I think…I think it says 'Leap to the trees.' What do you think that means?"
(I gotta bounce for a couple of hours. sorry)
Addison thought for a second. "Maybe it means to climb the trees?"
Jay shrugged. "Well, it's worth a shot." He dropped his duffel bag and pulled an odd looking folded device out. He pressed a button on it, and it unfolded into a hoverboard. He tapped it again, and purple lines shot up the circuitry. "I think I can fly around in the treetops with this now."
(Excuse Lucille, she’s going to be a party-pooper.)
“If you want to explore, do it after we get the satellite.” Lucille groaned.
