The day was cold officers walked the streets searching for the shifters. On high alert as always.

Raven crouched in the Alleyway. She breathed into her hands then rubbed them for warmth. It was so cold out.

Lillian put his hood up to hide his ears and jumped into a large cardboard box to hide

Elton pressed his back to the cold wall of the building. He was hoping the corner he was pressed into was wide enough to hide him from the officers slowly passing by the alley.

Basil walked down the street and put the hood of his jacket on. He looked around and saw some of the officers walking down the street and walked discreetly into an alley and pushed his back to the wall.

Hiding sucks….. Miles was sitting elsewhere, his hood over his head and his cap, hands stuffed into his sweatshirt pockets. My life was going perfectly fine until they found out. I was living the normal life of a human being…. I don’t even remember how the word got out… He let out a chilling breath. But whatever…

Once the guards passed Elton sceptically left his hiding spot and quickly walked farther into the alleyway hoping not to be seen.

Basil walked over to the fire escape and jumped up and pulled himself up onto it and climbed up to the roof of the building. He may have made a bit of noise but hoped nobody noticed.

Being bored of waiting in the cold, Miles got up and shook out his sweatshirt. It doesn’t help that I’m wearing shorts the day I ran away… He grunted, retracting his frozen hands into his sleeves.
He went out and peeked around both corners to see guards in both directions. Damn… I’m pretty much trapped here…

Basil walked secretly on the roof and noticed someone that may have been freaking out for some reason. "Hey." He whispered loud enough for them to hear.

Killian peeked our of the box to see the officials passing. He jumped out and started climbing up to get a better view of the city

Miles backed away into the darkness, totally unsure what to do. Damn, I hate this kind of stuff… all I want to do is live a free life… He put his hands in his pockets, fingering at them although they were numb for sure.
He glanced up in thinking he heard someone say something.

"get in the building go to the third room on the left and use their fire escape." Basil said then laid down on the roof of the building to not be seen.

As the gaurds walked by Raven climbed up onto a roof. She always preferred being up high. Maybe it was because of her preferred form but it still made her more comfortable to have a birds eye view.

Jillian jumped into the roof and looked to see other people. He yipped in shock then covered his fox ears again
