"Hey, in my defense, it's totally not my fault," Kasey laughed as she was lifted off the ground. "Did you want me to try to levitate you?"
"Hey, in my defense, it's totally not my fault," Kasey laughed as she was lifted off the ground. "Did you want me to try to levitate you?"
Barry set her down quickly. "Yessssssssssssss. What's it like? Does it feel like something below your feet is rising? Or like there's some sort of suspension in your chest?"
Kasey chuckled at his questions and thought for a moment. "Well, to me it's like… It's just like you can suddenly feel your feet lifting off the ground; there's nothing beneath them and you're just floating. Honestly, it is really cool."
Barry grinned, stepping back. "Show me."
"M'kay…" Kasey murmured, already starting to focus on lifting him.
She reached her hands out, palms facing him. Biting her lip in concentration, she squinted as she slowly and steadily lifted him. He was a bit harder, since he was bigger than she was, but she managed to lift him about eight inches.
Barry let out a sound halfway between a squeak and a peal of laughter. "Whoahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this is awesome!!" His feet were off the ground.
"I know, right!" Kasey laughed with him. She held him up for a moment longer before lowering him down slowly.
Barry stumbled a bit when he landed, a bit disoriented. “Whoahh.”
Kasey grinned at him when he landed. "Anything else you want me to try?" she asked with a light laugh.
“How many things can you levitate at the same time?” Barry asked curiously.
(Happy Thanksgiving!)
"What do you have that I can lift?" Kasey asked as she made her way to the bed to sit down.
(You too!)
Barry thought for a moment. “Anything hard to break. Shoes, coats, books, pillows.”
"M'kay… Maybe put a bunch of stuff in a pile?" Kasey suggested. "Then come sit and we'll see what I can do."
Barry went around the room, gathering pencils, pillows, clothing, a chair, and a stack of books. He set them down in front of Kasey. “Ta-da?”
"Thanks, Bare," Kasey chuckled and patted the bed beside her. "Come sit by me so I don't accidentally impale you."
Barry laughed, obliging. “You could give me CPR, that would perk me right back up.”
"If I stabbed you through the heart with a pen?" Kasey joked with a laugh. "Okay, anyway… Levitating stuff!"
Kasey stuck a hand out, the other behind her and holding her up, and she lifted the first thing: a pillow. She smiled as she continued to lift things, one by one, until she had twelve things in the air.
By now, she was chewing on her lip and her eyebrows were furrowed. She took a few breaths and lifted another pen.
“Whoah..” Barry stared in awe at Kasey, then back at the multitude of hovering items. She looked like something out of a superhero movie, with her brow furrowed in concentration and her extended hands.
"Okay," Kasey breathed as she let the items fall to the ground. "That was a lot…"
Barry have her a warm side hug. “That was really cool.. maybe the Avengers are hiring?”
(I got my first iPhone!!! I’m so excited!!!)
“Thanks babe. Now I’m exhausted, though,” Kasey chuckled, leaning into his side.
(Yayyy congrats!!)
Barry kissed her temple and hugged her close lovingly. “Movie time? Pizza should be here soon.”
(I’m currently on the phone with my friend, my sis sitting beside me, and rping. Lol.)
“Yes, please! Let’s just chill out now. You can show off your powers to me tomorrow,” Kasey said with a slight laugh.
(Loll)
“Of course.” Barry smiled and leaned back against the headboard of his bed, drawing Kasey onto his lap and opening his laptop.
(It's been, like, an hour. Lol.)
Kasey leaned back on him with a smile. "You've seen this one, right?"
Lol)
Barry nodded, pressing a kiss to her cheek before looping an arm around her waist and starting the movie.
(Skip?)
Yeah sure, when?
(After the movie?)
(Sure)
The credits rolled, and Barry set his plate down, lacing his fingers with Kasey’s. “Enjoy the movie?”
