(Back sorry that took forever)

Barry laughed as a tiny soap bubble floated into the air, scrubbing slightly harder at a spot in the pan he was holding.

(Don’t worry about it!)

Kasey dried another dish and glanced over at Barry as she waited for him to finish washing the one he held. Noticing the bubbles in the sink, she grinned and quickly grabbed a handful before she flung it at him, giggling.

Barry let out something akin to a yelp of surprise, jumping backwards. He immediately burst out laughing when he realized what had happened, and scooped up his own handful of bubbles to throw at his girlfriend.

Kasey laughed and dodged it, running to the other side of the room. “No! Not the bubbles!”

"Yes bubbles," Barry laughed, sticking a few clumps to his face like a beard and running after her. "You can't escape!"

(this is so weird…. this literally happened in class today)

“I bet I can!” Kasey laughed, running away from him again.

(I was one of the people being chased and yelling in panic when the guy accidentally swallowed bubbles. He's fine lol, dw)

"Oh no you don't." Barry leaped forward, crushing her in a bear hug and smothering her hair with bubbles.

(Oh, blegh… Poor guy…)

Kasey squealed and wriggled in his arms. “Nono! Not my hair!” she laughed.

(he was laughing insanely the whole time we were so confused)

"Oh no! Not my hair!" Barry imitated her, raising his voice by an octave. "Not my precious flowing locks!"

(Ew… Bubbles, though…)

“Don’t mock me!” Kasey giggled, moving to wrap her arms around him. “I just don’t want to have to shower!”

(idk, man, idk)

Barry wiped his soapy hand down the side of her arm, chuckling with amusement. "How could I ever survive without my perfect hair?" he continued in falsetto, grinning as he did.

"Stop it! It's so bad!" Kasey groaned, her voice still holding a bit of laughter.

"Stop it! My gorgeous soft hair! I conditioned this morning you villain!" Barry continued, shoulders shaking in silent laughter.

"Barry! Ugh, that voice!" Kasey groaned as she buried her face in his chest.

Barry chuckled. “You mean this one?” he continued, edging his pitch even higher.

“No, stahhhp!” Kasey groaned with a laugh, moving a hand to cover his mouth.

Barry grinned widely, kissing the palm of her hand and leaning in so that her hand was the only thing separating their mouths.

Kasey blushed slightly, smiling a bit. She slowly moved her hand away and kissed him softly, setting her hand on his cheek.

Barry let his hands settle on her shoulders, kissing her gently before pulling back. “Better now?” he asked in a voice an octave lower than his regular one.

“Much better,” Kasey breathed, giving him a small smile.

Barry let loose another chuckle. “Do you forgive me for my grievous crime?”

(Almost 11 pm.)

“Yeah, I forgive you,” Kasey chuckled with him, reaching up to peck him quickly. “Now… Should we go back to dishes?”

(Oof it’s almost 12 for me)

“I’ll finish them…” he smirked a little, a sly loon playing on his face. “You might want to wash your hair.”

(Oh, dang…)

Kasey crinkled her nose at him and stuck her tongue out. “Yeah. Thanks for that, by the way.”

(Lol)

The corners of Barry’s eyes crinkled mischievously. “Anytime, Princess Perfect Hair.”

Kasey made a face at him and pushed him away playfully. “Oh, shut up. Finish the dishes, Mr. Easily Flustered.”

Barry stuck his tongue out at her, an idea entering his mind. Smirk returning st full force, he leaned in again and pushed Kasey up against the wall, prompting her mouth open with his own. “Who’s flustered now?~”

“Not fair,” Kasey breathed, pushing her hands against his chest. “You can’t just do that…”
