Halo growls in reply, his eyes dark with anger. He slowly relaxes when it left before sighing and folding his wings back. He looks at the female. "Come. It's not safe out in the open like this."

@Dirt

"Y-you have wings." Kiki mumbled, starring at them confused. "A-are y-you- are you?" She felt her breathing increase Indacating that she was hyperventilating. don't pass out Don't pass out. she tried to tell herself.

@Dirt

Kiki nodded her head and forced her breathing to slow. But her head still felt hazy, as if she could still faint from shock.

Halo gently grabs her hand in his warm ones and leads the way to a cabin. He hurries her inside and shuts the doors. It seemed hidden from the world. Halo turns on her before leading her into the living room where he started a fire. "Get warm." He says, tossing a blanket at her.

@Dirt

Kiki gave a panicked look when he shut the door, but she couldn't deny the fact that she was cold, and the warmth did feel good. so she excepted the blanket.

He makes some hot chocolate, it was easy to see what he was doing. He handed it to her before settling beside the fire and taking a sip of the drink. "Alright. I'm sure you're bursting with questions, go ahead."

@Dirt

Kiki held the drink, eyeing it awkwardly. She looked up at him, fear still in her eyes. She nodded her head and spoke quietly. "You have wings?"

@Dirt

"B-but why?" Kiki cocked her head to the side. "Are you a? One of the?" She couldn't find the right words, as fear still had a hold on her.

@Dirt

"Right… Uh sorry." Kiki looked down at her hands, feelings stupid for being so scared. "Um, thank you." She mumbled.

@Dirt

"No." Was her short response. Kiki wrung her hands and stayed quiet for a moment more before looking back up at the stranger. "Are you one of them?" She asked quietly.

@Vuclan-is-tired

"One of them how, dear?" He asks, taking a sip of his drink. "A monster? Heaven's no. I'm a guardian. I'm supposed to protect the last of mankind. Though. You're the first human I've seen in ages."

@Dirt

Kiki tilted her head to the side slightly, "guardian?" She asked quietly as if still confused. " but, there are More people. Around."

@Vuclan-is-tired

"Not in this section, thanks to that monster we just faced." Halo says with a slight sigh. "Yes. I am a guardian. A caretaker. I'm surprised you saw me."

@Dirt

"Sorry. I didn't mean to." Kiki looked back down at her hands, feeling slightly less panicked, and slightly more like she was dreaming.

@Dirt

"Lucky? How?" Kiki again looked up at him, a hint of fear returning to her eyes as she searched his face.

@Vuclan-is-tired

"If you hadn't bumped into me, the monster would have killed you." He shrugs and takes another sip. "You're lucky you're alive. And now, you have a guardian. How neat is that." He sets down his empty cup.

@Dirt

Kiki watched him carefully, her eyes darting to his wings every now and again. "What do you mean I have a guardian now?"

@Dirt

Kiki cocked her head to the side and raised an eye brow. "I must of hit my head harder then a thought." She mumbled to herself. "This is a dream, right?"

@Vuclan-is-tired

Halo looks at her with a raised eyebrow and shakes his head. "If this were a dream, I'm sure you would already wake up in the belly of a beast. You're awake." He chuckles softly and shakes his head.

@Dirt

"But people with wings don't exist." Her eye brows knit together in confusion. "And for the record that would have ment the beast was part of the dream too. Right?"

@Vuclan-is-tired

"Darling. When the world started to fall apart, creatures from both heaven and hell were sent here. Demons try their hardest to kill people, we try to save them. Anyways, you should rest. You're safe now. I have an extra room upstairs."

@Dirt

"Heaven and Hell? Demons?" Kiki shook her head. yes a dream, that's exactly what this is. Her fear of this stranger had disappeared once she'd convinced herself that it was in fact a dream, not reality.
