I can, gimme a sec)
The loud beeps of his alarm clock drew Barry from his deep slumber, the sunlight illuminating his face. He groaned, forcing his eyes open– and found himself face-to-face with Kasey. Suddenly, the events of the night came crashing into him. Oh. [Shoot].
Kasey let out a soft sound and buried her face in the thing closest to her, which happened to be Barry's shoulder. She made a face, blinking her eyes open when she realized that it wasn't her pillow.
"Oh… Um, morning, Bare," she murmured sleepily, a blush immediately coating her cheeks.
Barry smiled softly down at her, tugging her closer. “G’morning.” He planted a kiss to her temple. “How’d you sleep?” Her body felt so warm against his., he felt safe. Completely safe.
"Really well. What about you? Did you sleep better after I joined you?" Kasey asked, smiling at him.
It was Barry’s turn to blush. “Very well indeed.”
Kasey frowned and sighed. "I'm sorry…"
His brow furrowed immediately. “For what?”
"That you didn't sleep well," Kasey said softly, shrugging.
(Fitfully means well)
(No… It means "not regularly or continuously…")
(Well shite….. sorry, let me fix that)
(Well, then, ignore my response. Lol.)
It was Barry’s turn to blush. “Very well indeed.”
"Good. Good. I'm glad," Kasey said softly.
Barry buried his face in her hair. “What time do you have your first class?”
"Mm… What day is it?" Kasey asked tiredly. "I think eight?"
“It’s only 6:30…” Barry’s fingers traced lazy circles across her back.
"Hm… Good. Then I don't have to leave for an hour," Kasey murmured, closing her eyes again.
Barry nestled her up against his chest, sighing contentedly. “I’m glad..”
"What about you? When's your first class?" Kasey asked, her eyes still closed.
“It’s not until nine,” he murmured, his mouth in her hair. “You’re so warm..”
"You're warmer…" Kasey mumbled. "We're going to fall back asleep at this rate."
“Mm, what with you and your warm-ness,” Barry teased sleepily.
"Your warmness is better, though," Kasey argued playfully.
“I disagree..” Barry smiled, eyes half-open.
"You do that. But it's my opinion," Kasey teased, chuckling.
Barry laughed softly, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her closer. “Mm.”
"This is nice," Kasey sighed with a smile. "Warm, comfy…"
“Very comfy.” Barry pepppered tiny kisses down her jawline.
