"Why? Are they dead or something?" Ember leaned back in her chair so she could see him more clearly.
"Why? Are they dead or something?" Ember leaned back in her chair so she could see him more clearly.
He laughs, “wow, good guesser aren’t cha? Yeah, they’re dead, idiots…”
"I'm guessing it wasn't of old age?" Ember laughed. "Death seems to surround this business."
“No, definitely not of old age” he laughs before a small hiccup escapes, “shot, poisoned, clubbed over the head with a blunt object…never old age.” He hiccups again, “there’s a saying that goes, ‘a boss would rather it be known that he was first tortured to death than known that he die of old age’ I don’t understand why but apparently having a long life isn’t good enough for us bosses” he rolls his eyes and giggles, “but since when have I given a shit about other people’s expectations?”
"Sir, I believe you're drunk. But I must say if you do die of old age that'd be amazing, especially if you don't get clubbed over the head once in you're life time." Ember laughed again.
“I hope I die at age 100 in my bed all comfy with several kids! And to never introduce them to this stupid business, just to -hiccup- spite everyone!” He hits his fist on the table slightly
"Wouldn't you have to find someone to pass the business to? And someone who'd be okay with your past?" Ember tilted her head, "I wish you good luck."
“None of them can make me do anything I don’t want to -hiccup-…I suppose eventually I’d have to find someone to give it to..but I don’t want to do that”
Ember shook her head with a laugh. "You are indeed drunk. Because what you just said made zero sense."
He laughs, “what I’m saying makes perfect sense to -hiccup- me!..or maybe it’s what I’m thinking..” he waves it off, “no matter! More drinks right?” He starts to stand to order more
Ember shook her head and got up after him. "I believe its time to go hom-" she stoped short when someone wrapped their arms around her waist from behind.
He turns quickly at her abrupt stop, “wha-what is it?”
"Hey babe, you here with this loser?" Her man looked over at Alex and smirked. "You could come with me and-" Ember threw her elbow back and wiggled away.
"I was saying, before being so rudely etarupted by this jerk, that we should go home."
Alex scowls at the man, “I swear if I was armed…” he trails off, seeming sober for a second before hiccuping, “fine, we shall head home..after one more drink”
Ember rolled her eyes before sending a glare at the man, and following Alex. "Sir, if you don't mind me saying so, I don't believe another drink is a good idea. But by all means do whatever you want."
He grumbles slightly, before walking grumpily towards the door.
Ember laughed slightly and followed. "Hey no ones stopping you from getting that last drink."
“I know you’re discouraging me from doing it in your head” he slurs slightly, “I’m not that much of an -hiccup- idiot”
"Mhm, well you continue to amaze me sir." Ember shook her head with a laugh. "Well shall we go then?"
“Sure, after you” He laughs and wobbles on towards the door
Ember made her way back to the car and slid into the drivers side. "I'm not exactly drunk, but I'm pretty sure my driving is about to get even worst. Is there any where else you'd like to go sir?"
He thinks for a minute before laughing, “a strip club” he laughs, “no…only kiddin’”
Ember narrowed her eyes at him and sighed. "You sure do make an expression, Sir." She put the car in gear and began to drive. This time making an effort to not seem like a drunk driver.
He laughs and lays back on the chair, “why thank you, darling”
Ember glanced over at him, "Don't call me that."
With in no time they where back. Ember slid from the drivers side, and took a moment to stretch before waiting for him to get out of the car.
He stumbles out of the car, “hey…y-you wanna see something cool?” He asks
Ember cocked her head to the side. "Sir, you're drunk." She thought for a moment. "But why not. As long as you don't get us both killed."
“It won’t get ya killlled” he stumbles towards the garage area and chuckles
"Oh gosh." Ember mumbled and hurried after him. "Sir it's Litarlly my job to keep you alive."
“It never hurts to have a bit of almost dying fun!” He walks though the garage door and through a hall into a dark room
