TRIGGER WARNING (some of this could be unsettling)

Name: Jessica “Jessie” Rae Barnes. Don’t call her Jessica. Or do. Death wish for you.
She doesn’t like people calling her Jessica since only her mother and Noah really called her that. Even her father and Jaxon called her Jessie, as with the rest of her family.

Appearance: Appearance: Jessie has smooth skin that is a pale tan; Butt-length medium-dark brown hair with blue highlights. This isn’t appearance but she always wears a necklace with a terrarium pendant that has a blue rose inside of it (https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0678/2841/products/bluerose_-_Copyvg_grande.jpg?v=1471125024). It’s a constant reminder of Noah so that she will never forget him.
Personality: Jessie likes to cover her past with her personality. She can be extremely sensitive, but it doesn’t show much. She’s upbeat, has a can-do attitude, happy-go-lucky, confident
Flaws: She is extremely sensitive on the subject of Noah. She can get angry and shut off if she thinks people are trying to hurt her.

Background: Jessie hides a past that very few people will know. I’ll take it in sections.
Jessie was the oldest child of 4. Her father was abusive, and she often took beatings without a word with the promise from her father that her siblings wouldn’t be hurt. This has left many scars on her back that she tries to cover with her hair.
Jessie’s mother wasn’t safe from beatings either. She suffered them for 15 years (since Jessie was born) before dying shortly after Jessie’s youngest sibling was born.
Jessie and siblings, in order: Jessie (f, 17); Noah (m, 15); Jaxon (m, 8); Natalie (f, 3).
Jessie and Noah were extremely close before Jaxon came along and even after, having the nickname of ‘Two Peas in a Pod’. Noah was Jessie’s gay little brother with an obsession with blue roses. Shortly before Natalie’s birth, Noah died. The family was having a nice day at the lagoon. Noah was slightly afraid of the water and wouldn’t go any deeper than his waist. It didn’t help that he couldn’t swim either. Being the rebels they were, the two teens went up to the cliff edge. Noah was mostly there for moral support, but was accidentally pushed over the edge. Jessie dove right in after him, but by the time she dragged him onto the shore, he was gone.
About one and a half years ago, Jessie’s father died. Gang murder apparently. Not that she cared. She and her siblings were free of him and given into the care of their mother’s sister, who was the kindest person in the world. She was even willing to move into their house so the three Barnes kids wouldn’t have to move all the way to Florida to live with her, which was hours away from where they currently lived and where everything they’d ever known was.
Other: Jessie visits her mother’s and Noah’s grave once a week, taking red dahlias for her mother and blue roses for Noah.

Name: Oliver 'Ollie' Miles

Age: 16

Appearance: Short black hair, blue eyes and fair skin. He has a very athletic build due to years and years of dancing and gymnastics.

Personality: Ollie is rather quiet, but loves to socialize. He isn't always the brightest, but he is super passionate about the things he understands, and believes in! He is quite open about everything with everybody! You want to know something? All you have to do is ask, there are no stupid questions when it comes to Ollie. He was often denied any real answers when he was little and had to learn everything on his own, and rather quickly, so he tries to help as many people as he can.

Flaws: Ollie is quite blunt, and will tell you exactly what he's thinking, even at the wrong times. Sometimes, he can be a bit slow to understanding what's going on, but he tries his best to catch up.

Likes: Dancing and Gymnastics. He's been dancing since he was two years old, with his neighbor owning a dance studio, he spent most of his time there already, might as well get some lessons in as well! When he isn't found dancing, he spends his time reading, and can be caught in the public library after work and school! Another thing he absolutely loves is children, he wants to have some of his own one day, and spoil them rotten.

Dislikes: Oliver absolutely HATES dogs, when he was little, his parents took him to the animal shelter to adopt an animal, and the first dog they looked at bit him, and later in life, when he was around thirteen, he was attacked by a dog, and it was so bad, he was sent to the hospital. He hasn't been able to look at a dog without freaking out ever since.

Other: Oliver was named after his biological father, who had left his mom when he found out she was pregnant with him. Ollie when he was born, was sent to live with his fathers parents, who only keep him around so he can help pay rent for their crappy one bedroom apartment and groceries.

Appearance: Darker brown hair that falls in faint waves and curls. It has been cut in quite some time so a few strands fall longer across his forehead. A few shorter strands can be tucked behind his ears. Light brown undertones in his hair. Lightly tanned skin though it leans towards more of a creamier, pale tone. Soft, tanned undertones on his nose, cheekbones and jawline. Faint, tired flush on his cheeks, collarbone and shoulders.(will sometimes have bags under his eyes from his lack of sleep/insomnia) Freckles dotting his shoulders and arms, and a few around his eyes and cheeks. Almond shaped, narrower eyes that are a hazel color with tawny undertones. Dark eyelashes framing them. Usually have a dreamy look to them. Made of thoughtful frowns and lazy smiles. Around 5’11 with a leaner build and faintly hunched, smaller shoulders.
Personality: A quieter, thoughtful person who can pass of as very reserved when first met. Tries to be polite to new people. Charismatic. Poetic and likes to think a lot. Can be sarcastic and blunt when bothered by someone. Doesn’t look after himself very well. Soulful, thoughtful and artistic. Usually very sleepy and tired (can be low key lazy) Protective of the ones he loves.
Flaws: Someone who listens to everything that people tell him, so he can be gullible or hurt by other’s words. Can be taken advantage of easily because of how peaceful and kind he is.
Likes: Music and dancing (he prefers to watch people dance since he’s quite clumsy) Sleeping. Loves fruit and scones. Movie theaters and films. Poetry. Loud people.
Dislikes: Loud noises and bangs. Very sad songs. When people yell. When people insult others who are different.
Other: His mother had named him more of a feminine name after one of his grandparent’s that had died. In this club because his family had more or less rejected him for his sexuality, and he finds it hard to talk to anyone else about it. An insomniac as well.

Likes:Being alone, playing the guitar.He also enjoys drawing.
Dislikes:People who ask constant questions.
Greatest fear: Death of his loved ones
Other: He has Asperger's Syndrome and some anxiety and depression.
Backstory: Grew up with 8 (soon to be 9) siblings in a humongous house. He has an older brother, who has abused him both mentally and physically, a twin brother who he is fairly close with, even though they are polar opposites, a younger sister of which he is her confidant, another younger sister, who is always in some sort of activity, another younger sister with Down Syndrome, a little brother who is adorable, a baby brother who just said his first word, and finally, his infant sister, Joyanna, who died after being hit by a car, which Otis had to witness. Otis has always been the shyest kid that anyone knew, but no matter how much he hated to admit it, he needs people desperately. His Asperger's Syndrome was diagnosed around 10.
