Welcome to Altir City! One of the most diverse and exciting cities in the kingdom of Caran! Here creatures big and small, human or non-human, from any mythology or belief walks with somewhere that they belong. Your character can be anything. Explore the parks or walk among the crowds as you go around the city where there is everything from small offices to structures only held up by the builder's magic.

This will be an RP with a few hints of character chat considering it doesn't matter if you leave or stay. The setting is a city in my more modern version of a kingdom. I've only been in a few RPs so I don't care if you're new so long as you reply with more than two sentences, don't disappear for days on end(Though I understand personal life can get in the way), and follow andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules. I allow cursing but no slurs, and nothing sexual in any way. LGBTQ+ is allowed as well and up to two characters per person. Anyways….

Personality: Cautious around new people and creatures, though once he gets to know someone, he'll prove to be the best companion one could ask for
Background(Optional): Eberaus has lived a mostly solitary life. He lived in his cave on a steep mountain. His home was a large cavern in the rock. He was made perfectly to cling and skim any surface, no matter how rough or smooth. Being what he was, the drake found easy ways to crawl along his mountain territory.
However, this all changed when a sudden cave which he didn't remember at all seemed to just appear before him. His curiosity led him down a tunnel, to only crawl out and find himself on the outskirts of a city he had never been to before.
Flaws: Coming from a different world, his beliefs are of course different, he does have trouble socializing, also his clothes probably make him stick out
Quirks(Habits, triggers, or odd facts): When agitated, his eyes glow brighter, his tail lashes also back and forth when annoyed. Eberaus, when in full/true form, he will flare his feathery crest depending on how he is feeling (such as anger, excitement, etc.)
Any Weapons or Magic: Wields a sword when human form, though prefers going all natural in his full form; claws, fangs, etc.
Being a rock drake, Eberaus has the ability to 'cloak' himself, turning nearly invisible. However, if he moves really fast his body may shimmer and give his position away. Has the ability to glide short distances when full form, as well as cling to nearly any surface.
When threatened and in a corner, Eberaus will breath a blue toxic mist. It is extremely deadly, especially if breathed in

(@peaceful.pie Sure. Though I've seen you on a few other threads and ask you don't start asking things like "Hello?" or where people are without giving people time to respond. At the very least five or seven minutes.
Also I think I'll be using a character that's sort of allied with the villain since the one I was thinking of doesn't really need to be fleshed out. Oof. I'm using him in another right now but he needs work. lol I'll post him here in a minute.)

Name/Nicknames: Aaron/Corru
Age: Age is a odd thing in my world. I should have made it optional. He acts and looks like he's in his older teens.
Species: Kitsune(Shapeshifted to human)
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Pan
Appearance: Light skin and messy brown hair some might call fluffy. Forest green eyes that often appear human but can resemble those of a fox at times. Though he is often seen human when he is a fox he has orange-brown fur with green markings on his face, as well as two tails with the third seemingly ripped off. As a fox he is twice the size of a normal wild fox.
Attire: Plain green shirt with beige cargo shorts and black hunting boots. Wears a dark brown coat with torn ends and a brown belt on top. Sometimes he wears a white kitsune mask with
orange-brown or green markings.
Personality: Aaron is short tempered. Though he can be cold and easily feel betrayed he is loyal to some degree if someone manages to gain his trust. If he is around those he trusts he can be quite enjoyable having a love for climbing trees and sharing stories. He can be dangerous if pushed too far or he has a specific goal in mind. If he were to trust someone it would be because they treat him as an equal or friend rather than someone to be feared, shunned, or hated. This can do more harm than good in some cases as one who has continuously given Aaron reasons to trust them can get away with a lot more as he does his best to justify the person's reasoning.
Background(Optional): Aaron may have been the one lashing out to put plans in motion but he is not the real villain. Corru has stopped communicating and now without guidance to help him move things along he's gone off the radar of his enemies, staying in Altir City for the time being. Things are much different from what he remembers and he's unsure what to think of it.
Flaws: Short tempered, can have dark humor, manipulative at times
Quirks(Habits, triggers, or odd facts): Can be angered if asked too many questions, pestered continuously, or someone views him as lower than themselves. Though sometimes this can also make him shut down in a sense, refusing to talk to someone or acting uncertain. One thing is asking him about family unless he volunteers to talk about it. Some habits and behaviors he keeps no matter if he's a fox or human, such as him becoming docile if pet or growling when provoked. Has a habit of cracking his neck every once in a while.
Any Weapons or Magic: Magic such as strings or the daisho(Pair of Japanese swords) he can summon.

Appearance: Fae’s appearance changes on a day-to-day basis because of her magic. Her skin is a simple tan with a few freckles. She is a little short – around 5’1”. She has your usual elf ears which are sensitive and give her excellent hearing. Her hair is waist length and she likes to experiment. Her hair and eye colour change daily according to a particular element. This is because the elves of Athenia are all based around one element, and each element has a colour scheme.
Earth – Medium brown hair with light green tips; Emerald green eyes
Fire – Red hair with orange filtered into it; Amber eyes
Air – Pale purple hair with a single streak of white; Pale purple eyes
Water – Pale blue hair that fades into dark blue; Bright blue eyes
Light – White hair with gold tips; Golden brown eyes
Darkness – Simple black hair; Simple black eyes
Attire: Her style changes on what her hair and eyes are on that particular day.
Personality: Fierce, determined, unwavering

Fae is from the elven realm of Athenia.
Fae’s mother was a princess. Princess Aira was a skilled wind elf engaged to the prince of another wind kingdom. However, Aira fell in love with a commoner water elf named Tidus. Her parents did not agree with this. She was cast out of the castle and her home, and she and Tidus went outside of Athenia to a different area. They had three daughters: Azari, Faelynn and Naida. Azari was a fire elf, Naida a water elf.
Fae is extremely unique. Rarely is there an elf born with more than one of the original elements. Sure, an elf with control over either light or darkness is born once in a few millennia. Only one other elf has been born with the same gifts that Fae has. She was overcome by the darkness inside of her.
Fae is wanted for her power. People want to know how to get it. When she was younger, her family was captured by a man simply known as The Doctor. He tortured her family to try and get the information out of her. First it was her mother, then her father, then Naida, then Azari. Every day, Fae had to endure the screams of her loved ones, the screams that continued until they faded away as the elf they belonged to died. She and Azari managed to escape when Fae lost it in anger and sadness, but Azari was weak. They ran until Azari could go no more. She remembers Azari’s last words like it was yesterday, and not 5 years ago.
Flaws: She can be untrusting
Quirks (Habits, triggers, or odd facts): She both despises and is terrified of The Doctor. She can become defensive if she thinks someone is working for him. She is also terrified that her darkness will corrupt her and turn her to darkness like Navaeh (na-VAY-ah) – the other elf with her powers centuries ago.
Any Weapons or Magic: Earth, fire, water, air, light, darkness. Fae avoids using her darkness magic unless absolutely necessary, due to its power to corrupt her.

Appearance: dark skin, black natural hair that is usually up. Dark brown eyes.

Personality: very quiet and tries to just blend in. Tries to act happy. She never wants anyone to worry about her.
Background: ran away from a different town and her family with her little sister.
Flaws: won't accept help from others
Quirks: looks around a lot. Automatic answer to everything is ”great”
Any Weapons or Magic: her main focus is potions and protection spells.

(Yep, they're good! Oof, I'm bad at posting things quickly. Here's the starter.)
Aaron stood at the outskirts of Altir, his expression showing slight annoyance. Corru had gone quiet and he had no idea why, but without him he didn't have a clue where to head next. He walked farther into the city, towards the center, with plans to look around while he wasn't being pestered about acting on plans. The bright lights and architecture was different from what he remembered, and despite expecting it… It upset him slightly. Now tall buildings, some of impossible shape or height without magic, stood where humble brick structures once were. The sun was just starting to set as street lamps turned on despite windows of businesses already shining light onto the pavement. He only hoped the map he came across was right and he was heading towards the park, where there was trees and greenery like he was used to. No matter, he avoided walking in the light of street lamps as he wandered closer to center. Though many people were here his thoughts became questions about any he may encounter.

Fae hung in the branches of one of the trees, creating a swing of vines. She loved coming to the park at night, as it was relaxing.

Pausing before letting out a sigh of frustration Aaron turned around, having zoned out and smacked into the wall of a building as he repeated directions in his head. "I should of kept the map." He grumbled. He growled as someone shoved past him, but didn't bother picking a fight as they walked on. Completely losing his sense of direction as he looked around the crosswalk he stood at he backed up against the wall of a shop. He hated being around so many people, but maybe he just wasn't used to crowds. Glancing around once more he went to take off in a random direction he felt might be right, only to stop again us he saw an individual that didn't fit in. With no need to rush places he paused to see what they did, not sure if it was out of curiosity, amusement, or something else.
(I'm leaving room for someone to jump in before Aaron finds the park so this doesn't become a one on one. lol)

"Strange, I don't remember a city like this ever being where I am from…then again, I don't get out much."
A giant, reptilian head emerged from a cave in a hillside further away. The creature's head was constantly looking back and forth, forked tongue flicking in and out. The feathery crest along his head was flared fully upwards, alert. The scents were all new, even the area was unfamiliar.
A frown appeared on the beast's muzzle, "I must've wandered further into that cave than I thought…"
His head shifted, seeing the lights in the distance. The beast's eyes narrowed, pupils becoming thin slits. This was an entirely new world to him. Sure, he didn't leave his mountainous territory that often, but even he knew when he was no longer in a familiar place. That, as well as a strange feeling he felt vibrating deep down to his bones. The creature's feathery crest remained raised as he took several cautious steps forward.
"Perhaps there is something that may help me get back? I don't like this…"
The beast suddenly started to move swiftly across the ground. His powerful legs propelled him forward, though his body remained tense, on full alert. After some traveling and gliding, he found himself near the edges of rather strange place. It reminded him of the human kingdoms back home, but this particular one seemed different. The creature turned thoughts over in his mind.
He knew back where he was from, dragons like him weren't very welcomed. In fact, they were often hunted, considered threats. Thinking about that, he gave a soft snort to himself.
The creature's form suddenly started to shimmer, shrinking downwards. As the light died down, a humanoid stood in the drake's place. His head was adorned with what appeared to be a skull of some type, his choice of clothing making him appear more 'barbaric' so to speak. Clearly someone who knew little to nothing about 'civilization'. A long tail trailed behind the male, slowly swaying one way, then the other. He lifted his head, taking in the sights before him. A forked tongue slipped past his lips, once again testing the air.
"Well, not getting any information just standing here…"
The male then took his first steps into the strange city.
