Milo sighed and shoved the mirror into his pocket. "Not where you're supposed to be. You're also very far away from home." He began walking forward. "It'll take you a while to get back, and I'm not going to stand here with you for a whole 24 hours until I can toss you back to where you came from, so if you want to stay alive, I'd suggest you stay very close to me, whether you want to or not."
Robin glanced around nervously and slid over to Milo, staying close to his side as they walked. "Where are we?"
He clenched his jaw, not looking down at the person next to him. He hadn't expected them to actually follow. He kind of wished they hadn't, as he really didn't enjoy having company. "A parallel universe. Welcome to the realm of warlocks. You're very likely to die if you say the wrong thing, so I suggest you don't speak without my permission."
“O-okay.” Robin squeaked nervously.
(I just realized that last part sounded kinky oof)
He felt a twinge of guilt in his chest, knowing how terrified they must be, but he stamped down the feeling and continued forward. "I'll be bringing you to a pawn shop that me and my friend own. It's also where we live. You'll be staying there until you can get home, she won't mind me bringing a guest."
(Lol Jared?)
Robin looked up at Milo curiously. “She?”
(kjhsdgkjh first of all curse you for making my blind ass zoom in so far so I could read that, second t h a n k you for making that reference I love deh)
He glanced over at them, raising a brow. "Yes? What's wrong with having a female friend?"
(Lolololol that word is cursed by the insanely cool Jared Kleinman)
“Nothing..” Robin looked down as they walked. Wow way to make assumptions you ass. Robin told themself angrily.
(These pronouns are fucking with me)
(lmao yep
and same but it's fine lol)
He chuckled lightly. "What, did you think we were together?" he asked, amused.
“You never know with these things.” He shrugged, smiling a little.
Way too gay for that, he thought to himself as he walked, clearing the smile from his face. "We're here," he said, stopping abruptly at a small glass door leading into a very messy shop that smelled of roses and cigarettes.
“Cool.” Robin said, following Milo inside. Aaand now he thinks you’re weird. Not like it isn’t true but still..
He could feel the heavy electricity in the air as he walked, moving and sparking around him. "Amber!" he called, moving into the back room and holding the door open for the person he'd accidentally stolen from another universe.
(should I RP as her or just use Milo and say Amber isn't home?)
(It’s up to you)
Robin nodded thanks and looked around the room curiously. “How am I here again?”
Milo glared at them. "You looked into the mirror and literally bounced out of your own universe and into another one. I don't have time to get into the details right now."
That's when Amber suddenly emerged from another room, looking irritated. "What the fuck do you– oh balls, who is thAT?" she exclaimed, suddenly jumping back. "She's got no magic! Milo, what did you do?"
“I..uh..” Robin fell silent, utterly overwhelmed by this new person. Get a hold of yourself jeez.
He held his hands up defensively, backing away in shame. "I didn't mean to! I was trying to find that one guy, but I ran into this person, and I got scared and accidentally caught fire, and they saw me and I tried to leave but I couldn't because I accidentally let her come with me." He spoke quickly, some words mumbled and mushed together. Amber glared at him, arms crossed over her chest as she shook her head in disappointment. "Anyway, their name is… is… what's your name?" He asked, turning to face them.
“R-robin..I..I’m sorry..” He looked down, shuffling their feet nervously.
"Robin. Right." Milo nodded, then turned to Amber, who still seemed vaguely upset. "Look, they'll be gone within 24 hours. I'll find some way to take care of their memory. It'll be no problem."
"Take care of my memory? What if I don't want you to?" Robin said, taking a tiny step back.
Milo glared at them. "You don't have a choice."
"Look, just take care of it. Get them out of here. I don't care how you do it, just make sure they're back home safely by the end of the day, at least."
"It's my memory.." Robin grumbled, crossing their arms over their chest.
"I could care less," he said. "You're going to be staying in our apartment for now. Don't go into the streets. Don't open the door for anyone. Don't go into my room. If you do any of these things, you could very easily die, and I don't think you want that."
Robin sighed. "Okay. That's..okay.." They said weekly, looking down at the floor.
Milo felt guilt tug at his heart again, but he shook his head and shoved down his emotions. "Follow me, I'll show you where it is. You can take the guest room when we get there."
“Okay. Thanks I guess.” Robin said, following Milo.
He opened a door and held it open for Robin, feeling somewhat uncomfortable now that things were settling down a bit.
“Thanks.” Robin muttered, walking through the door and waiting for Milo to follow, slightly nervous but more curious about where they were.
