Name: Cerulean Arkos
Royal title: King of Elements, Master of Myths, Sword of Fire
Kingdom: Ellayis
Kingdom info: The kingdom of Ellayis is a beautiful kingdom with many forests, mountains, and rivers. The main city is located near the largest forest and not too far from the river Calliope. There is a market place near the south side of the city with merchants selling all kinds of things. The kingdoms main export is wheat, grain, cotton, and dye. They have a powerful navy and army and haven’t lost many wars, considering they haven’t been in many wars. Ellayis is a fairly peaceful, home to crystal magic users.
Sexuality: biromantic
Gender: male
Status: When the previous king gets old, he calls for a championship where 10 young men and women fight for the throne. If the king has heirs they also take part. Cerulean entered when he was 24 and won. The most important part of the challenge is that each contestant is put infront of different coloured crystals. The one who’s crystal levitates and glows the brightest us the next ruler. Cerulean crystal shone brightly however he realized that all the other crystals were also levitating at different heights. That is when he was chosen.
Age: 25
Appearance: black messy hair with streaks of blue. He has green eyes with specks of dark blue and purple. He is tall with and athletic skinny build.
Magic: Cerulean mainly can manipulate water and talk to aquatic animals however using different crystals, he can manipulate different things
personality: Cerulean is a sassy boy with an attitude. Hes very fluent in sarcasm and likes jokes. He has an anxiety disorder and doesn’t like to display emotion so he gets overwhelmed sometimes. He’ll be wary of you but once he trust you, get ready for some mischief. He’s a type of person that can be a pain in the ass at times but you can’t gelp but love him
Other: At the age of 26, all males and females go into a cave. Those without crystals find theirs along with a companion, those with crystals find a companion or familiar that helps teach them to control powers

Mae stood as her priestess approached. "My lady, the rituals are finished." The priestess turned, and bowed to the other rulers, "The ceremonies will begin shortly, once the others arrive." The priestess bowed, and made a holy gesture.

Kingdom: Valenera
Kingdom info: Valenera is a kingdom that's hidden alongside the Tinted Lagoon in the middle of the Stoughbel Forest. It's rich in magic based around sunlight and life, though the royals are the most powerful. They have many different species of magical creatures that live in their kingdom and in the forest around them. They have never engaged in any wars and are against violence.

Gender: Female
Status: bloodline procession
Age: 24
Appearance: Astrid has medium length blonde hair that's slightly wavy, bright green eyes, tall, fairly skinny, usually wears more formal floor length dresses of any color.
Magic: She has complete control over water and plants. She can breathe under water and manipulate it to her will and can make plants grow faster, shrink, or do her bidding.
Personality: She's very formal with people unless she knows you really well. She tries to hide what she's really feeling because that's how she was taught, she was taught that royalty should never show emotion. She loves to draw and read and can most likely be found by herself doing one of those things. She hates violence and would never kill anyone, even if her life depended on it, she just couldn't make herself do anything of the sort.

Cassius gave a slight nod to the priestess. He reached up to behind his head and untied his mask. "I suppose I should take this off if we are to start soon." A hush fell over the people as they saw his face, and his own subjects bowed in respect. He kept the mask grasped tightly in his left hand.

Mae bowed her head, but snuck a wink at Cassius. She felt like masks hide people's true emotions, like a sheet of glass protecting them from the world. Although, she thought, she herself wore more masks than anyone would ever know….

Royal title: Empress
Kingdom: Sarine
Kingdom info: Sarine is surrounded on two sides by water, one side by dark forests, the other by lush, green plains. Sarine itself has colder climates, many woods, and not that much light.
Sexuality: Pansexual
Gender: Female
Status: (how did they become ruler? bloodline, magic, killing previous ruler, etc.) Bloodline, although some speculate conspiracies against her because she doesn't have many common traits with her parents.
Age: 28
Appearance: Silver eyes, jet black hair which ends at her waist. Her hair is straight and sharp, like her features. She is of a smaller build, her hair creating curtains around her face. Despite that, she is formidable and highly respected, giving an sense of authority to everyone she talks too. Most are drawn in by her eyes.
Magic: Ice/Freezing. She is able to emit ice from the air, or freeze any liquids - including blood.
Personality: Too many fear her for her powers, knowing her ability to freeze them with nothing more than a cold stare. But inside she does has sympathy to give, and all in all she is lonely. Raised as an only child and having an ill father, a mother who fled, she was cold from the beginning. Her sarcasm is biting, she is blunt, but fair.

Iris walked, her face a frozen mask, eyes never betraying her features. Staring at Mae, she gave a polite but small curtsy, watching as a strand of her hair fell out of line. Tucking it behind her ear, she glanced at the others. Back straight, face neutral. The picture of royalty.

"Empress," Cassius said, tilting his head a fraction towards her as greeting. "Welcome. The ceremony will be staring soon."

Mae gave Iris a small smile. She saw Iris' mask, as she always did with some monarchs. Though, she supposed, Iris saw hers' just as well

Mae nodded to Cassius, and Followed the priests to the giant Navy blue bonfire in a onyx stone pit.

Nodding in reply to Cassius, and subtlety to Mae, she turned to look around. Noting the mask Cassius held in one hand, she lowered her eyes as a greeting of respect in his prescence.

A priest threw bundles of herbs into the fire, chanting sacred blessings. He motioned for the rulers to stand in a straight line, to recieve blessings

"You don't have to do that," he muttered to Iris. "You won't be struck by a curse if your eyes land on my face." He went up to stand by Mae immediately after.
