@Shuri-the-Floof-Doggo

Name: Walker Redsoil
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Gay
Age: 28
Personality: Cold and stern, but nurturing and serene. Brooding. Altruistic. Often fluctuates between confident and insecure without being too inconsistent. Level-headed, cagey, tender, hilarious.
Appearance: Tall at 6'0" in height. Lean, with long, whipcordy limbs. Dark brown, unruly hair, bright blue eyes.
Likes: Most vehicles, coffee.
Dislikes: Styrofoam, messiness, asymmetry.
Other: His sexuality is actually a part of why he's adopting. He can't afford a surrogate mum, and doesn't want to risk legal stuff. A master in kendo because he thinks it's awesome and has a taste for beautiful weapons, such as his katana and his wakizashi, both of which he adores.

Name: "Nice to meet you! My name is Rei!" (Rei Sato)
Gender: "I'm a girl!"
Sexuality: "Um, I don't think I know yet." (Questioning since she's so young)
Age: "I'm 6!"
Personality: "I think I'm a happy person. I'm very nice and I can behave!" She is also very affectionate despite worrying that whoever adopts her might return her in the end. She can be silly at times and will apologise if it isn't up to her high expectations for herself.
Appearance: "I have my pretty, short blonde hair that I like to braid, green eyes, and lots of freckles! Mom used to say that I had a roundish face and was too short at 3 and a half feet. With my feet I think I'm like 7 though…?"
Likes: "Ooh! I like ribbons a lot for some reason, I like hugs, and I like to draw! Um, I also like fluffy blankets and I like it when I can learn new things!
Dislikes: "Thunderstorms…" She also hates the rain in general since her parents gave her up on a rainy day.
Other: Her parents could no longer care for her at a young age of two. She was given to an orphanage and from that day on, she's had hope someone would adopt her. But for some reason, no one has…

Walker sighed, exasperated as he finished the paperwork required for adoption.
"Miss…" He noted, to the head of staff.
"Oh." She said. "Would you like to see them?" She offered.
"Of xourse." He answered.
"Right this way." She got up, leading him through a door, into a vibrant room, with a whimsical demeanor.
All of them flocked around him.

When the door to the room opened, Rei looked up from the game she was playing on the floor with the other kids. Hope suddenly filling her mind, the young girl stood and rushed along with the other kids. The man was double her height and taller than the 'front desk lady' as she used to call the woman. Her name was actually Miss Angeline Pierce, though the kids usually called her 'Miss Angie' now.
Rei beamed up at the stranger. He was so big! The six year old could barely fathom what it would be like to be tall. Most kids her age were around 3 and 3 quarters of a foot, so she was a bit smaller than them mixed in with kids older and younger. It was most likely he'd pick a little one, but either way, a new person was always fun to see.

Walker instantly noticed a smsller girl in the mix, giving her a soft-smile and a thumbs up. He looked them all over, but really the little one was the only one to catch his eye.
He gestured at the head of staff, then to the little girl and the two adults left, seconds later, the head of stsff came bsck in, beckoning the little girl.

Rei tilted her head slightly at the odd thumbs up. She liked his smile though, so she returned it. After they left, the kids returned to their games and sutch. It was only when she was called out, did she have to bite back tears. Did… did the man really want her? Was she finally getting a dad?
Stepping into the front room, she saw the man from before, grinning at her with kind eyes. Her few things all seemed to be in a small bag sitting on the counter top which Miss Angie was behind.
"You're all set, kiddo," the woman said. It was then when the tears were allowed to flow down her rosy cheeks. Not sad tears, but happy ones. She quickly walked over to her new father, hugging his legs tight.

"It's OK, little one." Walker said, bending down to pat her on the head, before standing again, and waiting for everything to be in order. After he started to wslk out, waiting for Rei to follow.

(I thought this was just a one on one? If you decide it's not, then yeah, you can totally join, Stark! (^ -^))

Rei already liked how gentle he was with her. Face still a bit red from her tears, she trailed after the tall man. Now outside, the young girl really got a good look around the town around them. The orphanage only went on group "field trips" of sorts due to the large group, so she had yet to go and see different little shops around. Rei wondered who it was that adopted her exactly and what he wanted to be called. In movies, certain parents prefered to be called sir or father rather than the simple term 'dad.'

Walker opened the doors, hurrying out of the building. He started for the parking lot, msking sure Rei was right behind him. Next, he took her hand, walking jer across the parking lot, to his Prius. He unlocked it with his keys, and held open the door for her.
"Come on." He encouraged.

Looking at the car, she was kind of fascinated with now nice it was. She carefully climbed into the vehicle and buckled herself in. It felt a bit strange being in the car with just her new adoptive father, but she supposed she would grow used to it.

Walker got into the driver's seat, sliding on his seatbelt to set a good example. He backed out of the parking space, hovering through the streets. Luckily there were very few stoplights that turned red. The traffic was also down.
(I can mske a separate adoption 1/1 for you Stark. Is that cool?)
