"You're very clingy you know." Afriel let her fingers dance through his hair and smiled.
"You're very clingy you know." Afriel let her fingers dance through his hair and smiled.
Zackary wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer. “What makes you think that?”
"Oh you know." Afriel shrugged. "Just a hunch."
Zackary smiled a little, but didn’t deny it. He had left her for so long. He didn’t want to keep his hands off of her. She was his, and he hers.
Afriel sighed and again put her head on his shoulder. "I missed you. Please, don't ever run off again. At least not with out me."
Zackary tucked up into her, his legs close to her lap now. “I won’t. Never again.”
Afriel nodded her head and her voice was a quiet whisper as she spoke, "thank you."
Zackary closed his eyes. “You’re welcome, love.”
Afriel sighed and stretched. "So what do you think this party thing is tomorrow?"
“Something stupid and dangerous,” Zackary grunted angrily.
"Oh come on, I'm sure everything will work out okay. We'll go get your spray paint. Everything will be fine."
Zackary frowned deeply and rested his head on her chest. “Sure. Sure. It just seems… not… smart.”
"Like I said you don't have to go. I can defend myself if anything happens, and I'm sure Eden can too."
Zackary shook his head. “I kinda wanna go just to see what the Demons are like here.”
"I'm sure they'd be nice. Unless they're not, then they can kindly screw off." Afriel laughed and stroked Zackarys head, messing up his hair farther.
Zackary nibbled on her neck. “Until then, how long do you think we’ll be up for tonight?”
"Baking or?" Afriel bated Zackary away again. "Baking wise, maybe a little past nine?"
Zackary stayed put away from her, looking sulky. “Right. Just cooking.”
"But I hope we finish early, I'd like to be able to wake up early tomorrow." Afriel cocked her head at him, "oh stop sulking."
Zackary huffed at her. He moved his legs off of hers and took his arms back. There was no point in flopping all over her if she was hoping to get ‘sleep’.
"Oh come on, Zackary. Stop being so angry. There's plenty of time for that later." Afriel offered a small smile.
Zackary puckered his lips grumpily and grabbed a slice of pizza. He bit into it with a huff.
"Zackary." Afriel sighed and grabbed a slice of pizza also, taking a bite into it she looked up at him. "Don't be so grumpy."
Zackary tilted his head away from her. “I’ll be as grumpy as I want.”
Afriel sighed and finished her slice of pizza. "Alright grump."
Zackary chewed on his crust, glowering at the wall. His fierce chewing from his sharp teeth scattered crumbs everywhere.
After another slice Afriel declared herself full, and waited for Zackary to finish. "Once your done do you want to go pick up the spray paint?"
(*you’re)
Zackary was on his fourth slice and was going strong. “Mmm.. sure.”
(Oof, sorry.)
Afriel let her forehead connect with the table and sighed. She let her mind wonder while she waited, trying to think of ways the party might go wrong, and ways to keep things from going wrong.
Zackary crossed his legs up onto the booth seat and crunched into the crust with a sigh. Nom nom
